Clarkson generated 27 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes of Wednesday's game against Utah.
EDGE Analysis
Clarkson fell one point short of tying for the team lead, pouring in a season-high 27 points. The veteran guard has moved in and out of the rotation recently, and hadn't played more than 10 minutes in a game since Feb. 10. Clarkson's five rebounds also tied a season high. While Wednesday's performance could earn Clarkson some more opportunities going forward, he likely won't see mid-20s minutes when Josh Hart (knee) is back.

Clarkson (coach's decision) went unused off the bench in Thursday's 126-111 loss to the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Clarkson had appeared in each of the Knicks' previous six games, but he had already seen his playing time drop tail off a bit after trade-deadline pickup Jose Alvarado was cleared to make his team debut Feb. 8. Coming out of the All-Star break, the Knicks welcoming back OG Anunoby (toe) from a four-game absence and brought Jeremy Sochan aboard on a one-year deal, and those additions were enough to push Clarkson out of the rotation entirely. The well-traveled guard has endured a tough season in New York; he's averaging a career-low 9.1 points in 18.8 minutes per game and is shooting an unremarkable 33.3 percent from downtown over 51 appearances.

Clarkson closed with four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in 13 minutes during Tuesday's 137-134 overtime loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Clarkson continues to offer very little on a nightly basis, having scored more than five points only three times in his past eight appearances. At this point, he is nothing more than a depth piece for the Knicks, averaging 6.1 points in 15.1 minutes across 12 games over the past month.

Clarkson won't start Friday's game against the Pistons, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Josh Hart will return from a one-game absence due to an ankle sprain, pushing Clarkson back to the second unit. Over his last five appearances off the bench, the veteran guard has averaged 4.4 points in 12.8 minutes per contest.

Clarkson will start Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clarkson will make his first start of the campaign due to the absences of Miles McBride (ankle) and Josh Hart (ankle). Clarkson is on pace to average career lows in points (9.4) and minutes (19.3), but he's still capable of scoring points in a hurry on any given night.

Clarkson racked up 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two assists over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 132-101 win over the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
After being left out of the rotation in back-to-back games, Clarkson saw increased burn Tuesday. The veteran guard scored at least 12 points for the first time since Jan. 9, and he had scored in single digits in each of his previous four appearances entering Tuesday's win. If Josh Hart (ankle) joins Miles McBride (ankle) on the sidelines against Denver on Wednesday, Clarkson could continue seeing meaningful minutes.

Clarkson played the final 12 minutes of Wednesday's 120-66 win over the Nets, finishing with three points (1-4 3Pt, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
EDGE Analysis
Though Clarkson did a decent job of filling up the box score during his time on the court, the fact that he didn't check into the game until the Knicks had built a 32-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter suggests he likely would have been out of the rotation had Wednesday's contest been more competitive. The garbage-time appearance came just two days after Clarkson had been limited to one two-minute shift at the end of the first quarter during the Knicks' 114-97 loss to the Mavericks before he stayed on the bench for the final three quarters. The recent return of Landry Shamet from an extended absence appears to have made Clarkson somewhat expendable on the Knicks' second unit, and the latter hasn't helped his case for maintaining a regular role by shooting 35.9 percent from the field and 24.3 percent from three-point range since the beginning of January.

Clarkson finished with 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 112-101 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
With Jalen Brunson (ankle) leaving early Thursday, Clarkson could have some extra opportunities on his hands going forward. Clarkson has averaged 10.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.7 steals in 19.7 minutes per contest in his last 11 games, so his fantasy appeal remains closely tied to points.

Clarkson finished with 12 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 123-111 victory over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Clarkson strung together some rather quiet performances since his 20-point outing Dec. 31, but he seems to have gotten back on track Wednesday against the Clippers. With Josh Hart (ankle) projected to return in the coming days, Clarkson's usage may take a hit, but the latter will still be one of the most important contributors off the bench.

Wed 12/31/25 10:44 PM

Clarkson finished with 20 points (8-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 24 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 134-132 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Clarkson scored at least 20 points for just the third time this season, a welcome sight for anyone who happened to stream him in. Outside of a few solid performances, Clarkson has been mostly disappointing, averaging 10.4 points and 1.5 three-pointers in 20.5 minutes per game.
