Furphy recorded the first double-double of his career, turning in a balanced performance despite the loss. Having started nine of the past 10 games, Furphy appears to have earned himself a consistent role in Indiana. He isn't exactly playing starter-level minutes on a nightly basis, but he has logged at least 26 minutes in three of the past five games.

Furphy ended with four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 16 minutes during Monday's 98-96 win over the Celtics.

Despite starting, Furphy was limited to 16 minutes. Meanwhile, Ben Sheppard logged 23 minutes off the bench, but he didn't find much success either. Over his last seven games, Fuphy has played 17.9 minutes per contest with 5.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

There is no reason to go and add Furphy, although he is a name to monitor as the silly season approaches in February and March.
