John Wall shot 11-of-19 from the field for 33 points to go with three boards, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes. He didn't take any threes and it was his fifth game in a row without a make. Even without the production, Wall is on fire offensively and over his previous 10, he averaged 25.6 points. He's looking like a guy that should be coming off the board in the early second round of drafts next year.

John Wall abused George Hill throughout Saturday's game, finishing with 37 points on 16-of-25 shooting, four rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks and only two turnovers. Wall scored 26 points in the first half alone, tying a career-high. At this point in the season many players are slowing down or being rested as a precaution, but Wall is playing on fresh legs and dominating the competition nightly. It's a sweet outcome for any owners who held onto him during his prolonged 33-game absence to start the season, and the only blemish in his play tonight was a 5-of-10 mark from the FT line.

John Wall kept up his red-hot scoring streak on Tuesday with 27 points to go with eight boards, nine assists and three blocks in 37 minutes. He's one of the hottest players in the league and is the main reason why the Wizards have an eight-game home winning streak. In his previous 10 games, Wall averaged 24.6 points, 8.4 assists and 1.6 steals on 49.1 percent from the field. He's been a top-five player in eight-cat leagues over the past month and is on cruise control right now.

John Wall finished the month of March with averages of 22.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.6 blocks on 48.4 percent shooting. Normally we wouldn't blurb something of this nature but it's definitely notable considering how Wall looked prior this year. Not only did he shoot 48.4 percent from the floor, but he connected on 45.5 percent of his shots from distance, and that's pretty impressive for a guy who is a career 25 percent shooter from distance. Wall has shown no signs of slowing down since declaring himself a max contract player.

John Wall scored 35 points on 11-of-28 shooting to go with nine boards, two assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and four turnovers in 38 minutes against the Magic on Friday. His offensive game is has taken flight lately and in his previous five, Wall averaged 24.4 points and 9.4 assists. His approach to scoring has changed a bit and he has relied more on his jumpshot during this scoring outburst. Wall is turning some heads and he's rising up draft boards for next season.

John Wall hit just 3-of-18 shots for 18 points and 12 assists in Wednesday's ugly loss to the Thunder. Much has been made about Wall's reconstructed jumper after he 13-of-22 for a career-high 47 points on Monday, but it just wasn't there for him tonight. However, the fact that he still had a double-double (and hit 12-of-15 free throws) is likely a sign that he's maturing. Look for his shot to return in the next one.

John Wall worked with trainer Rob McClanaghan and former Wizards shooting coach Dave Hopla in the offseason to reconstruct his jump shot. Hopla, now an assistant for the Knicks, has a reputation as a "shot doctor" in NBA circles, and Wall's jumper looks completely different than it did last season. "Main thing for me is using speed and shooting on the way up," Wall said. "I used to shoot on the way down and if you want to become a better shooter, it doesn't work that way." Wall is playing with improved confidence, and it's clear to see as he's been on a torrid pace in March with averages of 21.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.9 steals on 52.3 percent shooting.

Teammate Chris Singleton said that John Wall's jumper has "completely changed." There's reason to believe Wall's recent hot-shooting streak isn't just a flash in the pan. He set out to improve his jump shot last offseason and is now flashing new form. "Crazy. His shot completely changed," Singleton said. "I guess that work in the summer paid off." Over the last 14 games, Wall is shooting 52.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from 3-point range. If he can sustain anything close to that, the 22-year-old super-athlete is going to be a top-20 fantasy option for a long time.

John Wall had one of the best nights of his career on Monday, shooting 13-of-22 from the field for a career-high 47 points to go with seven boards, eight assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 45 minutes. It was quite a show and he did whatever he wanted for most of the game. Wall got to the line a whopping 24 times and made 19 of them in a big win. The Grizzlies are usually a tough matchup for guards and they allow the least points and lowest field goal shooting to guards, so Wall's line is a pleasant surprise. The Wizards are 21-16 with Wall in the lineup and he's really coming on strong these days.

John Wall was ejected midway through the third quarter on Saturday after jawing with Klay Thompson. He finished with 14 points (6-of-12 FGs), three rebounds, three assists and one steal. The Wizards went on to outscore the Warriors by nine points without him in the fourth quarter, but it was still a bone-headed move for the team captain -- his language and stance toward Thompson was so aggressive that the referees had little choice but to give him a second technical. At least he'll be rested for Monday's game vs. the Grizzlies.
