Wall scored 17 points (5-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT) to go with five rebounds, four assists and three steals across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 96-91 preseason win over the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Wall's accuracy from the free-throw line has been an issue in his four preseason appearances, with the point guard hitting only 8-of-16 attempts. Beyond that, Wall has looked like himself since returning from offseason surgery in both of his knees, averaging 11.2 points, 5.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals in 20.2 minutes per game. With the 26-year-old enduring no setbacks with either of his knees since making his preseason debut, Wall should be ready to take on a 35-minute-per-game workload when the regular season begins.

Wall is expected to play roughly 25-to-28 minutes in Tuesday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
After recovering from offseason procedures on both knees, Wall has played in the Wizards' last three preseason contests, gradually increasing his workload in each game. Wall played 22 minutes and finished with 11 points and four rebounds Saturday against Sacramento, and he's now slated to see his heaviest minutes load to date. Of course, his playing time will rise further once the preseason begins, but that 25-to-28-minute estimate should be enough to make Wall a reasonably valuable DFS option Tuesday night.

Wall registered nine points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-6 FT), nine assists, three steals, two rebounds and one block across 19 minutes in Thursday's 100-79 preseason win over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
While Wall's shooting -- particularly from the free-throw line -- left much to be desired, he was otherwise excellent during his time on the court, nearly churning out a double-double while playing less than half the game. Coach Scott Brooks gave Wall three more minutes than he had received in his preseason debut Monday against the Knicks, and the point guard should see his playing time expand in the Wizards' final three exhibition contests. After undergoing offseason surgeries on both knees, Wall carries a little more risk as a fantasy commodity, but he's still a respectable selection in the first or second round of most leagues.

Wall expects to see a slight bump in minutes for Thursday's preseason matchup with the Sixers, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports. "I thought John's (15) minutes were really good," coach Scott Brooks said. "It's pretty amazing a guy cannot play in a game for five or six months and do what he did. His minutes are going to increase a little bit, not a lot, this next game."
EDGE Analysis
Wall made his preseason debut against the Knicks on Monday, seeing just over 15 minutes of action, while adding eight points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and a steal. He's slated to see an uptick in playing time Thursday, which likely means he'll be held to around the 20-minute mark on the court. With that said, his workload should continue to gradually increase throughout the remaining portion of the preseason schedule with the hope that Wall will be ready to go in full for the regular season opener.

Wall finished with eight points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and a steal in Monday's loss to New York.
EDGE Analysis
Making his preseason debut, Wall was limited to 16 minutes, but he made his presence felt as he helped the Wizards to a seven-point halftime advantage. The point guard, who returned to full practice Sunday, will likely see his workload increase gradually as the preseason progress with the goal of having him at full strength for the start of the regular season.

Wall (knee) expects to play between 12-to-16 minutes during Monday's preseason game against the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Wall is making his preseason debut, after sitting out the previous few outings for additional recovery on both of his knees. As expected, he's going to see his minutes restricted, so Wall will likely be pulled after playing minutes in the mid-to-low teens on Monday. He'll likely see his playing time increase as the rest of the preseason schedule unfolds, but considering he's on some heavy restrictions against the Knicks, it might be wise to avoid him in DFS contests for the time being.

Wall (knee) will make his preseason debut Monday against the Knicks, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall has been limited through the early portion of camp while recovering from offseason procedures on both knees, but he was a full participant at practice Sunday for the first time. After his knees responded positively to the workout, Wall has been cleared to play Monday, though his minutes will likely be monitored closely.

Wall (knee) was a full participant at practice Sunday, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall has yet to see any action during the preseason, as he's being eased into the swing of things after undergoing procedures on both of his knees this offseason. He was able to take part in five-on-five play earlier this week and has now returned to practicing in full, so he's likely not far off from making his preseason debut. The Wizards have a game against the Knicks on Monday, although it has yet to be determined whether Wall will make an appearance during that outing or not. However, even if he does return, Wall will likely see his minutes heavily restricted.

Wall (knee) will not play Thursday against the Sixers, J. Michael of CSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall underwent procedures on both of his knees during the offseason and continues to recover from surgery. The point guard has been a limited participant since the beginning of training camp, however he appears to be progressing towards a full recovery. Wall participated in five-on-five play for the first time during training camp Monday, but ended up missing Tuesday's preseason opener against Miami. The next opportunity Wall will have to see some playing time is Monday against the Knicks.

Wall (knee) participated in 5-on-5 play for the first time during training camp Monday, but will not play in Tuesday's preseason matchup against the Heat, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall underwent procedures on both of his knees over the summer and opened up training camp as a limited participant while easing back into the swing of things. He took the next step in the recovery process Monday, as he was able to participate in about 15 minutes worth of 5-on-5 play. Wall will sit out Tuesday's preseason opener, but considering he's now participating in 5-on-5 team drills, it appears he's not far off from being cleared to participate in preseason games. Trey Burke is expected to start in his place at point guard.
