Anthony was waived Sunday by the Pistons, Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
In order to clear room for the newly-signed Boban Marjanovic, who officially became a member of the Pistons on Sunday after the Spurs declined to match his three-year, $21 million offer sheet, Detroit dropped Anthony and Cameron Bairstow from the roster and renounced their rights to free agent Steve Blake. Even if he had remained on the roster, Anthony likely would have been no better than fourth on the depth chart at center behind Andre Drummond, Aron Baynes and Marjanovic. Now 33 and coming off a season in which he logged only 19 appearances, Anthony figures to attract sparse interest from other NBA teams.

The Pistons are expected to decline Anthony's $2.5 million team option for the 2016-17 season, Pistons.com's Keith Langlois reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite remaining on the Pistons' roster all of last season with the exception of a four-day window where a trade that would have sent him to the 76ers was voided, Anthony only appeared in 19 games last season, averaging 5.1 minutes per appearance. With the Pistons adding Henry Ellenson to the roster with their first-round pick in last week's draft, it's expected that he'll act as the team's emergency center, with starter Andre Drummond and backup Aron Baynes likely absorbing all of the minutes at the position most nights. Ellenson's arrival and the recent acquisition of 25-year-old Cameron Bairstow from the Bulls seemingly leaves little reason for the Pistons to continue carrying Anthony, a 33-year-old journeyman with limited upside, on the roster.

Anthony will be available for Wednesday's game against Philadelphia, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a botched trade involving the Pistons, 76ers, and Rockets, Anthony has rejoined the Pistons and was said to be available as soon as he was comfortable returning to game action. Nothing major here, as it appears he is ready and willing to play with the Pistons again and will do so Wednesday.

Anthony will not be available Monday against Cleveland, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anthony is wrapped up in a messy situation, having been traded twice since Thursday, only to have both deals voided Monday afternoon. Instead of joining the 76ers, Anthony will return to the Pistons, who had initially traded him, along with a first-round pick, to Houston on Thursday in exchange for Marcus Thornton and Donatas Motiejunas. Houston then shipped Anthony to the 76ers for a second-rounder. Anthony is expected back in Detroit on Tuesday, and his availability Wednesday will ultimately be decided by how quickly he can get reacclimated.

The trade that sent Anthony to Houston, and subsequently Philadelphia, last week was voided Monday, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The reason behind the voiding of the deal are medical concerns regarding Donatas Motiejunas, who has been sidelined with a back injury. While Detroit had knowledge of the injury, Motiejunas underwent a post-trade physical examination, which turned up some longer-term concerns. As a result, the trade has been voided, meaning Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton will return to Houston, while Anthony will land back in Detroit. The Pistons will also get back the first-round pick they sent to Houston, while the Rockets will return to Philadelphia the second-rounder they sent in the Anthony deal.

Anthony was traded to the 76ers on Thursday as part of a three-team trade, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports. The Rockets will acquire the rights to forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum, while the Nuggets will receive a 2017 second-round pick.
EDGE Analysis
It's the second time on the day that Anthony has been moved, after he was sent to the Rockets earlier Thursday in a trade that sent Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton to the Pistons. Anthony isn't expected to make any tangible on-court contributions for the 76ers, as the team likely just agreed to bring him in for salary-cap related reasons. It's possible the Sixers could waive him before the season ends, as he isn't expected to factor into their rotation.

Anthony and a top-eight 2016 protected first-round pick were traded to the Rockets on Thursday in exchange for Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anthony had only made appearances in 13 games for the Pistons this season as he was slotted into an emergency role behind Andre Drummond and Aron Baynes. His opportunities with his new employer will be virtually the same while now playing behind Dwight Howard and Clint Capela, with Josh Smith even able to play spurts at center for interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff. With little hope for fantasy relevancy in the remainder of the season, Anthony has one year remaining on his contract following the current campaign, which means he's in line to remain in Houston through the 2016-17 season.

Anthony has not seen the court in 14 of the last 15 games.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran was brought in last season to be an end-of-the-bench reserve forward and that's exactly the role he's filled again this season, appearing in only 13 games and logging an average of just 4.0 minutes in those contests. Barring multiple injuries or some sort of bizarre development, don't expect Anthony to make much of a dent in any fantasy formats in 2015-16.

Anthony (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Wednesday's 123-114 win over the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Anthony hasn't left the bench in the Pistons' last three games and will likely continue to remain on the outskirts of coach Stan Van Gundy's rotation unless one of Andre Drummond, Ersan Ilyasova, or Aron Baynes suffers an injury.

Anthony (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Tuesday's 93-92 win over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Anthony had played 14 minutes in last Friday's four-overtime thriller against the Bulls, but that's only because Aron Baynes missed the game due to a back ailment. With Baynes available Tuesday, Anthony promptly saw his playing time fall by the wayside. Anthony, who has appeared in only seven games this season, figures to remain outside of the rotation as long as both Drummond and Baynes are active on a given night.
