The Hawks signed veteran swingman Jerry Stackhouse to an unguaranteed contract on Friday. It sounds like somebody wanted to see if they still had 'it' in them, but more than likely Stack will end up back in the NBATV studio. If he does make the squad, there is practically no chance that he has fantasy value.

Jerry Stackhouse reportedly inquired about playing for the Italian team Virtus Bologna, but they aren't interested in signing him. Stackhouse is 37 years old and played just seven games before being cut by the Heat last year, so Virtus Bologna had some very justifiable concerns. Hopefully he can find a team to sign him until he's ready to fully retire, but it's safe to say his NBA career has ended. He was a two-time All-Star, and between 1997-2002 he averaged 22.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
