Jerry Stackhouse scored 11 points in 24 minutes on Saturday, his third consecutive game in double-digits. Stackhouse scored 12 points during his entire seven-game career with the Heat, but he's found new life off Brooklyn's bench (to the chagrin of anyone who drafted MarShon Brooks, who was the only Nets player with a DNP-CD).

Jerry Stackhouse helped propel the Nets to a win off the bench on Wednesday with 17 points, three steals and five 3-pointers in 22 minutes against the Celtics. This was Stack's second game in a row in the teens and tonight was his season high. He is very unlikely to keep up this type of production and we would leave him on the wire in just about every league.

Jerry Stackhouse scored 14 points and hit four 3-point shots on Monday against the Knicks. Stack does this every once in a while but is nowhere near consistent for use in fantasy leagues. He hit 4-of-6 shots tonight (4-of-5 3PTs) with one rebound and one assist in 22 minutes off the bench.

With Gerald Wallace (ankle) still sidelined, Jerry Stackhouse's minutes have increased in each of the last four games. Wallace was originally expected to be a player-coach as he transitioned into the next phase of his basketball career. However, with Wallace and MarShon Brooks (ankle) both sidelined by injuries lately, the veteran swingman has seen his role increase. Still, Wallace should return soon to dash any hopes of a Stack revival.

Jerry Stackhouse (hamstring) has yet to appear in a game for the Nets this season. Stackhouse was originally expected to return in late October. He's been on the Nets bench during games and it's possible he's just being held out as a healthy DNP-CD -- either way, he's not a fantasy asset.

Jerry Stackhouse will not play on Thursday due to a sore hamstring and is expected to be out for 7-10 days. Stackhouse has now dealt with a sore leg, knee and hamstring in the preseason, and it's a reminder that this isn't Stack's first rodeo. He's not on the fantasy radar in any format.

Jerry Stackhouse (knee) is not practicing on Friday. MarShon Brooks (foot) is also sitting out, as expected. After Stackhouse received acupuncture on Wednesday, his knee is being described as "sore" on Friday. Locked into a player-coach role, Stackhouse is not expected to have a role in the rotation.

Jerry Stackhouse was excused from Wednesday's practice for acupuncture treatment on his right leg. Stackhouse is on the roster as much as a mentor and coach than as a player, and the 37-year-old's occasional absence shouldn't raise any eyebrows.

Jerry Stackhouse will assume the role of a player/coach this season. It wouldn't surprise us if this is one of the only blurbs Stackhouse gets all season, and it's a testament to his career that he's still in the league. Needless to say, the veteran has no fantasy value.

The Nets officially signed Jerry Stackhouse on Monday to a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum. Stack continues to haunt NBA benches, and was a ghost of himself off the Hawks' bench last season, shooting 37 percent from the field in 30 appearances. Don't expect much more in Brooklyn.
