Lin is finalizing a deal to join the Warriors, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lin, who had been playing in the Chinese Basketball Association, will make his return to the NBA where it looks like he'll start out in the G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors. The 32-year-old will likely have his sights set on making Golden State's roster considering he has nine seasons of NBA experience under his belt.

Lin signed a contract Tuesday with the Beijing Shougang Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association, Kevin Wang of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After expressing frustration at the lack of quality offers he received from NBA teams in free agency this summer, Lin will make the jump to China to continue his playing career. The 31-year-old captured his first NBA title as a member of the Raptors in 2018-19, but played a bit role during the postseason run, appearing in just eight playoff games and averaging 3.4 minutes. Though Lin stayed relatively healthy across stops in Atlanta and Toronto last season, injuries limited him to only 37 games the prior two years and seem to have hindered his efforts to remain a viable NBA rotation player. He'll look to prove he still has something left in the tank in China before potentially returning to North America when the CBA season concludes in February or March.

Lin (back) will be available for Game 4, but he's unlikely to factor into the game plan, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lin has been battling a sore back and while he'll be an option in case of emergency, it doesn't sound as though he's healthy enough to make much of an impact.

Lin (back) is officially questionable for Game 4 against Philadelphia, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lin's missed the past two games due to back spasms. A third-straight absence wouldn't have much of an effect on Toronto's rotations considering Lin's seen just 16 total minutes of run in four postseason appearances.

Lin is out for Thursday's Game 3 against the 76ers due to back spasms, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lin is a late scratch for Thursday's contest, though is absence isn't too concerning given that he has yet to see more than six minutes per game in the postseason. Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell could see extra minutes as a result of Lin's absence.

Lin finished with 20 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 27 minutes in the Raptors' win over the Knicks on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
After a string of mediocre performances, Lin turned in a strong game, leading the Raptors in scoring. He got some extra run with Kawhi Leonard (rest) out, but with Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet both healthy, Lin was once again relegated to the bench. He can't be counted on for games like this as he's too far down the pecking order in Toronto.

Lin finished with three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds over 17 minutes in the Raptors' loss to the Pistons on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Lin drew his second consecutive start but yielded playing time to Fred VanVleet (31 minutes) who made his return to the lineup after missing 12 games with a thumb injury. Lin has had very minimal production in his brief time with Toronto, and once Kyle Lowry (ankle) is healthy and VanVleet gets back to game speed, Lin's role should be scaled back tremendously.

Lin will start in Sunday's game against the Pistons, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lin will draw his second straight start with usual-starter Kyle Lowry out with a sprained ankle. Lin is averaging 20.5 minutes per game over his last 11 games, and could see a slight increase with the starters.

Lin will start Thursday's game against the Lakers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kyle Lowry (ankle) sidelined, coach Nick Nurse will deploy Lin at point guard. Since joining the Raptors, he's averaging 7.7 points, 2.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 20.5 minutes.

Lin totaled eight points (3-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists and one rebound across 21 minutes in Monday's 126-101 loss to the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors were dismantled Monday, in large part due to losing two players mid-game. Serge Ibaka was ejected for a fight and Kyle Lowry left the game with an injury, paving the way for bench players to see more minutes. Lin received the most minutes of the bunch, but struggled from three and didn't contribute much else. If Lowry misses extended time, Lin could see an uptick in minutes and value.
