He was also banged up after game with his right hand and right knee heavily taped, leaving him a little iffy for Saturday's game against the Spurs. We don't have a report on his injuries, but the attached picture says plenty. Evans is heating up and is a safer play than teammate Enes Kanter right now, averaging 8.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and a block per game over his last five.

Jeremy Evans played 38 minutes in his second start of the season on Monday, scoring six points with eight boards, two assists, one steal and two blocks on 3-of-9 shooting. He was shooting 65.4 percent from the field before this game, but this was the third time in his last four games which he failed to shoot over 45 percent from the field. Evans has some decent per-minute averages based on his 8.4 points, 5.4 boards, 0.9 boards and 0.9 steals in 20.1 minutes, but he's really going to struggle covering power forwards on the defensive end to get consistent minutes once Derrick Favors (back) comes back.
