Jason Richardson (chest/virus) returned to action in the Magic's loss to the Hawks on Thursday, scoring seven points on 3-of-10 shooting (1-of-6 from downtown) with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 23 minutes. At least he got back onto the court, giving owners some piece of mind heading into the break. Our take is that the virus is a non-issue going forward, so owners should continue evaluating him as a must-own player in 8/9 cat, 12-team formats. Ryan Anderson had an off-night with 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, one steal, and one block, and Dwight Howard went for 12 and 12 with two steals and five blocks.

Jason Richardson (chest) is active and starting in Thursday's game against the Hawks. Richardson has been medically cleared and feeling good following his early-week scare. His return sends J.J. Redick back to the bench, but the sharpshooter may get some extra minutes with Jameer Nelson (knee) out. Richardson should be fine for his usual 26-30 minutes.

Jason Richardson (chest) is warming up on Thursday. Richardson remains a game-time call, but he says he feels better and has a chance to suit up. We'll have official word on his status within the next 30 minutes.

Jason Richardson (chest/virus) as once again been ruled out again on Wednesday. J.J. Redick owners rejoice with Richardson out of the lineup, and for good reason. In eight games as a starter this season, Redick has averaged 14.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.5 treys on 45.1 percent shooting. He's also shooting at a 95 percent clip from the line when he starts, and he can really help owners in need of help from beyond the arc.

Jason Richardson missed Monday's game due to chest pains, and coach Stan Van Gundy explained that Richardson is dealing with "some sort of virus." "(Doctors) think there's some sort of virus," Van Gundy said. "They don't think it was an injury of any sort. I guess what happens is it gets inflamed and then when you start breathing hard your lungs start expanding into the rib cage, and that's where the pain came from. When he's just walking around it's not as big a deal." This seems to indicate no heart issues, so owners can be cautiously optimistic that Richardson will be healthy after the All Star break.

Jason Richardson (chest pains) will not play on Monday and J.J. Redick will start once again in his place.

Jason Richardson confirmed his chest pains are "nothing major." Richardson was hit with quite a scare on Sunday when he felt a sharp pain in his chest during warmups. But he was checked out by a cardiologist and told he does not have a serious condition. The Magic have listed Richardson as questionable for Monday's game against the Bucks, with J.J. Redick acting as a strong handcuff for fantasy owners.

Jason Richardson was a late scratch on Sunday due to chest pains, although it doesn't appear to be too serious. Richardson was able to remain in the building, which is also a good sign. J.J. Redick got the start in Richardson's place, and we should know more about his condition after the game.

Jason Richardson had an out-of-body experience on Saturday, scoring 31 points (a personal-best with the Magic) while shooting a ridiculous 9-of-11 from 3-point range. J-Rich was 11-of-18 from the field overall, and his sharp-shooting may have locked up a few categories for his owners. He got off to a very slow start this year and was dropped in many leagues, but in his last six games he's returning second-round value in nine-cat leagues.

Jason Richardson scored 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting (including three treys) with one rebound, three assists, and one steal over 37 minutes in the Magic's 107-102 overtime loss to the Clippers on Monday. Richardson (knee) has scored 17 or more points in each of the three games he has played since getting back on the floor, and while we're wondering how long he can keep this up after a spotty start -- owners should be riding him while he's hot.
