Jan Vesely made his second straight start at power forward for the Wizards on Saturday but had just two points on 1-of-4 shooting in 26 minutes. He added five rebounds, four assists and two steals, but very much looks like a rookie. As long as Randy Wittman keeps Andray Blatche in the dog house and starts Vesely, he's worth a watchful eye. But it wouldn't be surprising if Vesely is back to coming off the bench if he doesn't turn it on in the next couple games.

Jan Vesely will start again for the Wizards on Saturday, meaning Andray Blatche will come off the bench again. Blatche's value takes a hit off the bench, while Vesely might be worth adding in many leagues. He's a potential defensive liability and Randy Wittman is still tinkering with his lineup and rotations, so all hope may not be lost for Blatche. But for now, he's the sixth man for the Wiz.

Jan Vesely was mediocre in his first start of the season, scoring five points on 2-of-6 shooting with six rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes. His athleticism is a big plus, but everything else is a question mark. Owners should simply watch him for now, but with the youth movement on in Washington it's possible he jumps onto owners' rosters at some point.

Flip Saunders praised Jan Vesely's defense after he had five steals in Tuesday's win. Vesely's five steals came in just 16 minutes of play. " He did a heck of a job on Bargnani when he was in there, he really frustrated him," said Saunders. He could very well see an increase in playing time as he continues to wet his feet, as this was just Vesely's second career game in the league. Owners should monitor his production to see if he can make a consistent impact on the stat sheet.

Jan Vesely made his season debut on Sunday, registering two points, a rebound and two turnovers in nine minutes. Vesely had been sidelined by a hip ailment but is finally healthy. Owners can monitor his playing time going forward, but that's all that needs to be done right now.

Wizards coach Flip Saunders said there is a "good chance" that rookie Jan Vesely (hip) will make his debut on Sunday. Vesely figures to immediately enter the rotation as a SF, and the 0-7 Wizards need all the help they can get at this point. Keep a close eye on him as the season progresses.

Jan Vesely (hip) did not play on Friday against the Knicks. Vesely on the precipice of playing and owners need to take a wait-and-see approach. He could end up getting big minutes on a Wizards squad destined to play for ping-pong balls.

Jan Vesely (hip) said he feels good enough to play on Friday vs. the Knicks. Even Vesely knows how miserable the 0-6 Wizards have been this year. When he was asked if he can help he said, "I'm not sure I am the guy that can make some miracles." Vesely is still looking to make his NBA debut and even though he was the No. 6 overall pick in this past summer's draft, he doesn't belong on fantasy rosters right now.

Jan Vesely (hip) practiced the past two days and is expected to be in uniform on Wednesday. Wizards coach Flip Saunders says that Vesely might enter the game to foul Dwight Howard, but he's not likely to play much, if at all. The No. 6 overall pick is worth monitoring, but belongs on waivers for now.

Jan Vesely (hip) said that he felt "better," and Flip Saunders acknowledged that he was making progress in his return. Vesely has yet to make his NBA debut for Washington. Saunders is hopeful that the rookie can return as soon as Friday against the Knicks, but Vesely stopped short of agreeing with Saunders' assessment. He's a name for owners to monitor when he returns to action.
