Young is planning to ink a two-way contract with the 76ers, Adam Johnson of 2 Ways & 10 days reports.
EDGE Analysis
Young was waived by the Bucks in early October and, as a result, hasn't played an NBA game this season. He's played 20 G-League games this year, however, seeing 33.5 minutes per game and averaging 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals. As is the nature of two-way contracts, Young will spent most of the 2017-18 campaign in the G-League, but can be at the NBA level for up to 45 days.

Young was waived by the Bucks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Young signed a training camp contract with the Bucks on Sept. 6, but he was ultimately let go after not appearing in either of Milwaukee's first two preseason games. The 22-year-old has spent most of his career in the D-League, posting career averages of 18.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.8 minutes per game. He'll take a spin through waivers to determine where he lands next.

Young agreed to a training camp contract with the Bucks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Young is the former 17th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Celtics. He struggled to see the floor last season in Boston, averaging 7.6 minutes and posting 2.3 points per game. He's spent much of his time in the D-League, recording career averages of 18.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals across 30.8 minutes per game. Notably, he also shot 40.6 percent from beyond the arc on 8.2 attempts per game. The shooting guard/small forward will seemingly be competing with the likes of Rashad Vaughn and Gary Payton for a final roster spot.

Young is available for Monday's game against the Nets, Scott Souza of the Providence Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The guard missed the last two games with an illness, but he'll be available Monday as an option off the bench for coach Brad Stevens. The former Kentucky standout has not been a part of the regular rotation, and with the Celtics having an opportunity to potentially break a tie with the Cavaliers atop the East, Young is unlikely to play a major role Monday.

Young is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Hornets due to an illness, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Final confirmation on Young's status is unlikely until closer to tip-off. The 21-year-old has been out of the Celtics rotation as they prep for the playoffs with the season winding down, so the rotation will not be affected if he is forced to miss the game.

Young (back) is available to play in Sunday's game against the Bulls, Scott Souza of the Providence Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Young appears to be over the back injury that kept him out of the Celtics' last two games, but it's unclear if he'll be able to claim a rotation spot Sunday. Gerald Green, who previously missed time with a heel injury of his own, reclaimed a spot on the team's second unit while Young was out.

Young (back) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Young was sidelined for Wednesday's win over the Warriors with a sore lower back, but he'll have a better shot at suiting up Friday. Even so, Young likely won't be in store for much playing time if he's able to suit up Friday. He's averaging just 8.0 minutes per game over 25 appearances on the season.

Young (coach's decision) scored three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt) to go with one rebound and one steal in 13 minutes during Monday's 116-102 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to play in Sunday's loss to the Suns, Young likely reentered the rotation Monday because Gerald Green didn't suit up for the second half of the back-to-back set following a recent hip injury. Young did little to distinguish himself while Green was out with the injury and has gone 1-of-7 from the field over his last four appearances, so it wouldn't be surprising if he dropped back out of the rotation Wednesday against the Warriors.

Young notched 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT) in 15 minutes in Saturday's 112-104 win over the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
After seeing a total of just seven minutes over the previous seven contests, Young received his first double-digit minutes allotment since Jan. 24. He proved highly efficient with the extra playing time, posting only his second double-digit scoring effort of the season, as well his second game with multiple threes. While the extra run was encouraging to see, Young's playing time remains highly volatile, even with Avery Bradley's (Achilles) extended absence.
