The NBA has fined the Spurs $250,000 for sending stars Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green home before Thursday's road game in Miami on Thursday night. Hopefully this will close the book on 'Pop vs. Stern,' although a new precedent has been set regarding benching healthy players. It will be interesting to see how things go near the end of the season when teams start resting stars in preparation for the playoffs.
