Todd is a candidate to remain with Memphis' G League affiliate. The 21-year-old appeared in a brief six games with the Wizards last season, but he struggled mightily in the G League in 2022-23, shooting 36.3 percent from the field on 5.7 shots per game.

Todd was traded from the Suns to the Grizzlies on Thursday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

The Grizzlies will be sending three second-round picks to Phoenix in exchange for two first-round pick swaps (2024 and 2030) and Todd. Over the past two seasons, Todd made just 18 appearances for the Wizards before he was traded to the Suns back on June 19. He'll have a tough time finding playing time with the Grizzlies during the upcoming season.

Todd has been traded from the Wizards to the Suns as part of the deal that sent Chris Paul and Landry Shamet to Washington, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

Todd, who has spent most of the past two seasons in the G League, will join Bradley Beal and Jordan Goodwin in Phoenix as part of the blockbuster trade. Todd appeared in 30 games with the Capital City Go-Go last year and averaged 6.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per game.

Todd will start Sunday's game against the Rockets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

EDGE Analysis

Todd will be replacing Anthony Gill in the first unit, and he could be slated for major minutes with Washington missing so many key guys for its regular-season finale. However, he hasn't done much in his limited appearances this season, so he's not a great target on a day with so many other options available.

Todd delivered 24 points (8-15 FG, 8-13 3Pt) and two rebounds across 34 minutes in Friday's win over the Ignite.

EDGE Analysis

Todd led Capital City in scoring and made all of his damage from three-point range, as he was extremely sharp from beyond the arc. This was his fourth game with double-digit points, though, so he can't be expected to produce at this rate going forward.

Todd had nine points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and a block across 15 minutes off the bench in Saturday's loss to the Blue Coats.

EDGE Analysis

Todd was productive in a short stretch, but he doesn't log a lot of minutes on a regular basis. He should hold a minimal role off the bench going forward.

Todd notched seven points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, a steal and a block across 28 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over Austin.

EDGE Analysis

Todd was not one of the four Capital City players who scored in double digits in this win, but he still made his presence felt on both ends with his energy and hustle off the bench. He's expected to remain a bench piece for Capital City going forward.

Todd had 13 points (4-10 3Pt, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds and an assist across 30 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Swarm.

EDGE Analysis

The former Ignite forward has taken a step in the wrong direction compared to last season, as he's only averaging 9.6 points per game while shooting 36.2 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from deep. However, he might be moving in the right direction since he's scored in double digits in two of his last three outings.

Todd was recalled from the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Sunday.

Todd hasn't made any appearances for the Wizards since Oct. 30, but he'll rejoin the parent club after spending time in the G League. He's unlikely to see much playing time in the NBA.

Todd had 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and an assist across 30 minutes in Sunday's win over Raptors 905.

EDGE Analysis

While the efficiency numbers shouldn't stand out, this game was a minor step in the right direction for Todd, as he made just 38 percent of his field goals during the 2021-22 season. This will be Todd's third season in the G League and should be a regular for the Go-Go as long as he remains healthy.
