Bonga wasn't available for Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers after he was placed in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bonga was one of three Toronto players placed in the protocols Christmas Day, with the addition of him, Justin Champagnie and Khem Birch (knee) bringing the Raptors' overall total up to 10. Toronto was also missing David Johnson (calf) and Goran Dragic (personal) on Sunday, leaving the team with the minimum eight players. Toronto had hoped to have newly-signed replacement players Nik Stauskas and Brandon Goodwin available Sunday, but their contracts weren't finalized after neither passed his respective COVID-19 screenings, per Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca.

Bonga managed 17 points (6-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three steals and a block across 38 minutes in Saturday's 134-106 loss to the Maine Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Bonga grabbed another double-double Saturday but he had an off day with his shot, making just 37.5 percent from the court and 20 percent from three against Maine. He's shooting much better than those numbers overall this season, and he's averaging a double-double per game so he can bounce back from this performance on Tuesday.

Bonga was assigned to the G League's Raptors 905 on Saturday, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bonga briefly rejoined the parent club but didn't appear in Friday's win over the Knicks. He should be available for the 905 against Maine on Saturday.

Bonga posted 13 points (5-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds and five assists across 39 minutes of Thursday's 129-103 loss to the Maine Celtics. He also had three steals and a block in the game.
EDGE Analysis
Bonga wasn't the most efficient shooter Thursday, going well below his season averages of 50.6 percent from the court and 40.5 percent from three (he was 29.4 percent and 20 percent, respectively, against the Celtics). He managed his second double-double of the season, but he will want to miss fewer shots moving forward.

EDGE Analysis
Bonga played very well on Monday, and he especially brought the hustle on defense and on the glass against the Go-Go. He's almost averaging a double-double this season with 21.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, and he's shooting a very respectable 43.8 percent from three-point range.

Bonga managed 30 points (10-16 FG, 3-6 3 Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks across 37 minutes of Saturday's 114-110 defeat against the Long Island Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Bonga was highly effective on Saturday although he couldn't lead his side to a win against Long Island. He's averaging 22.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 55 percent from the field with 905 this season, and he hasn't missed a free throw yet in eight attempts.

Bonga tallied 13 points (4-16 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, a block and an assist across 33 minutes in Friday's 106-98 victory over the Long Island Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Bonga managed his first double-double of the season Friday, but he's consistently come close enough that he's averaging 20.3 points and 10 rebounds per game this season. However, he was inefficient with his shots against the Nets, making just 25 percent from the field and 20 percent from deep.
