Toronto was also missing David Johnson (calf) and Goran Dragic (personal) on Sunday, leaving the team with the minimum eight players. Toronto had hoped to have newly-signed replacement players Nik Stauskas and Brandon Goodwin available Sunday, but their contracts weren't finalized after neither passed his respective COVID-19 screenings, per Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca.

Bonga managed 17 points (6-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three steals and a block across 38 minutes in Saturday's 134-106 loss to the Maine Celtics.

Bonga grabbed another double-double Saturday but he had an off day with his shot, making just 37.5 percent from the court and 20 percent from three against Maine. He's shooting much better than those numbers overall this season, and he's averaging a double-double per game so he can bounce back from this performance on Tuesday.

Bonga was assigned to the G League's Raptors 905 on Saturday, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.

He managed his second double-double of the season, but he will want to miss fewer shots moving forward.

Bonga put up 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), eight rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes in Monday's 120-113 victory against the Capital City Go-Go. He also made four steals and a block in the game.

Bonga played very well on Monday, and he especially brought the hustle on defense and on the glass against the Go-Go. He's almost averaging a double-double this season with 21.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, and he's shooting a very respectable 43.8 percent from three-point range.
