Clark will draw the spot start at shooting guard for Tuesday's tilt against the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Clark will replace Rajon Rondo (wrist) with the first unit. The start will be his second of the season, and first since Dec. 8. He has averaged 11.5 points across 25.1 minutes as a reserve during March, and figures to see his workload slightly increase as a starter. Thus, he could be an interesting punt play in DFS formats.

Clark supplied 17 points (8-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds across 31 minutes in Saturday's 107-101 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old guard is in the midst of his best month of the season, as he's now posted four consecutive double-digit scoring efforts and has accomplished the feat in five of the last six overall. Clark is getting it done with some stellar shooting, as he's posted success rates of between 54.5 and Saturday's 88.9 percent in the last four games. Clark saw extra run against the Rockets with Rajon Rondo being held out for rest, but he'd notably been averaging a solid 24.9 minutes over seven March contests prior to Saturday as well. Given the infusion of offense he's been providing off the bench, his playing time figures to remain relatively abundant down the stretch.

Clark posted 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot in 32 minutes during Thursday's 98-93 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Clark did a little bit of everything as the Pelicans 'sixth man on Thursday, as he spent time at guard as well as the wing. While the starting lineup is pretty set, Clark has hound his way into more minutes of late as he's averaged 24.2 minutes and 10.2 points in that span.

Clark totaled 21 points (9-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block in 38 minutes during Friday's 124-123 victory over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Clark saw some extra run Friday as Coach Alvin Gentry decided to go with the hot hand down the stretch. Clark has outbursts like this from time to time, but really can't be trusted in anything but deeper leagues. The minutes and points were both season-highs but the efficiency is clearly unsustainable.

Clark collected 20 points (9-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, and one assist in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 114-103 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Clark had averaged just 5.0 points over the last six games following his previous season high in scoring (15 points back on Jan. 16 against the Celtics). This was the first time since then that Clark earned 30-plus minutes, as Jameer Nelson and Rajon Rondo provide plenty of competition for minutes behind heavy-minute-getting guards Jrue Holiday and E'Twaun Moore.

Clark had 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, and one assist in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 116-113 overtime win against the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Clark followed up last Wednesday's 10-point performance with a pair of five-point outings. However, he earned a season-high minute total in Tuesday's overtime victory, receiving the nod to play late in the contest over starting point guard Rajon Rondo while Jrue Holiday assumed the lead ball handler responsibilities. Clark provides better spacing and defense than Rondo, and Holiday is a capable creator, so Pelicans' coach Alvin Gentry could turn to Clark more often during crunch time if he keeps producing.

Clark contributed 10 points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 105-102 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Clark earned at least 20 minutes for the first time since he poured in a season-high 19 points against the Heat back on Dec. 23. The 26-year-old guard has reached double figures in scoring six times this season, this after accomplishing that 18 times in 2016-17. During the last 13 games, Clark is managing averages of 6.1 points (on 46.0 percent from the field), 1.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.0 three across 15.9 minutes per game. With so much competition in the backcourt, Clark is barely averaging more time than he did last year with the Warriors, and his field-goal percentage has dropped by nearly 10 full points.

Clark tallied 19 points (7-11 FG, 5-7 3Pt), two rebounds and an assist in 23 minutes during Saturday's 109-94 win over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Although Clark doesn't fare as well in the assists department, Ian Clark has clearly been outplaying Rajon Rondo in every other way, so much so that he started ahead of the veteran earlier in the month. The former Golden State Warrior simply seems to be a better fit for the Pelicans than Rondo, especially now that the Pelicans have moved E'Twaun Moore to the three on a more consistent basis. Although he's not yet productive enough to be considered in most formats, he's a player to look out for moving forward.

Clark managed 15 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes in Friday's 116-109 overtime loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Clark drew his first start of the season in place of Rajon Rondo (rest) and thrived with the opportunity, posting a season-high scoring total. The five-year veteran had played a minimal role in the Pelicans' backcourt rotation, in recent games, but he's proven capable of offering solid scoring contributions in past seasons with the Warriors. However, his minutes remain in flux, keeping his fantasy value limited to very deep formats for the time being.

Clark will start Friday's game against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Clark will step into the starting five for the first time this season with Rajon Rondo being held out for rest. He's averaging just 4.3 points, 1.4 assists and 1.3 rebounds across 14.3 minutes per game this season, so expectations should be kept in check even with the increased run.
