Clark (coach's decision) didn't leave the bench Monday in the Pelicans' 105-85 win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the Pelicans' 20-point margin of victory, coach Alvin Gentry didn't delve into his bench much in this one. Only 10 players saw action and two played fewer than 10 minutes, leaving no time left over for Clark. The 27-year-old has failed to see the floor in five of the Pelicans' last six contests.

Clark (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Clark has missed the previous three games due to a right ankle sprain, but there's a chance he could be cleared to play in Los Angeles. Even if he is given the green light, Clark hasn't been a big factor within his team's rotation, averaging just 8.3 minutes over his last seven matchups.

Clark (ankle) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark popped up on the injury report Tuesday with a right ankle sprain, and the Pelicans will keep the guard on sideline for Wednesday's outing in Milwaukee. Clark has not seen the court in four of the last five games, however, so his absence shouldn't have much of an impact on New Orleans' rotation.

Clark will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee due to a right ankle sprain, Andrew Lopez of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark failed to take the court in each of his team's previous two contests, although it's unclear if his ankle was bothering him or if this was simply due to his current place in the rotation. Clarity surrounding his status should emerge as tipoff nears.

Clark finished with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt), two rebounds, and two assists in 17 minutes during Monday's 113-100 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Clark hadn't played in three of the last four games, the exception being a four-minute stint during garbage time in last Wednesday's matchup with the Mavericks. Clark averaged 15.8 minutes during November, but prior to Monday the last time he saw at least 15 minutes was back on Nov. 23. E'Twaun Moore (lower leg) missed Monday's loss after previously being listed as probable, and if Moore is able to rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's meeting with the Thunder there's no guarantee Clark will even see the court.

Clark will be available off the bench for Monday's game against Denver, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Initial reports had Clark drawing the start at point guard, but the Pelicans have since decided to move Jrue Holiday to the one spot and shift E'Twaun Moore shift to shooting guard with Elfrid Payton (ankle) ruled out. Clark is lined up to come off the bench right behind Jrue Holiday.

Clark will pick up the start at shooting guard for Wednesday's preseason game against the Heat, Pelicans' radio play-by-play announcer Sean Kelley reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Pelicans are resting a handful of starters Wednesday, which includes the likes of Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis and E'Twaun Moore. As a result, Clark will receiver the temporary promotion to the top unit and should have the chance for an expanded role. Once the regular season arrives, expect Clark to operate as the first guard off the bench.

Clark agreed to return to the Pelicans on Friday with a one-year deal, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Clark played a significant role off the bench as a combo guard for New Orleans last season, seeing 19.7 minutes per game. He averaged career highs in points (7.4), rebounds (1.7) and assists (1.5) while shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 31.8 percent from deep, which was a career low. Signs are pointing to him occupying a similar role during the 2018-19 campaign.
