Walker moved into the starting lineup Friday against the Wizards and contributed eight points and four rebounds in 33 minutes. Walker had a lackluster performance against the Wizards but he's performed well during his short stint in Miami. In fact, he's on track to sign with Miami for the rest of the season.

Walker will sign a second 10-day contract with the Heat on Tuesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The move is essentially a formality, as Walker has been a very pleasant in his first four games with the Heat, averaging 11.8 points and 3.0 rebounds with 2.8 three-pointers per game in just under 28 minutes. His first 10-day deal will expire following Monday's game, so the Heat will then have an additional 10 days before they must decide whether or not to sign him for the remainder of the season. Walker will look to bounce back Monday against Phoenix after shooting just 3-of-16 from the field, including 2-of-11 from three, in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

He had a rough shooting night, however, as he went 2-for-11 from beyond the arc and 3-for-16 from the floor overall. Walker has reached double figures in each of his last four games, but there have been a couple of poor shooting performances mixed in. He has gone 2-for-11 from beyond the arc twice in those four outings. If the Heat continue to give Walker 20+ minutes, his shot volume makes him a waiver-wire target in deeper formats.

Walker is starting Saturday's game against the Hawks. The start is Walker's first since the 2011-12 season as a member of the Knicks. In three appearances with the Heat, he's so far averaging 12.3 points (on 42 percent shooting), 3.3 rebounds, three treys, one assist, and 0.7 steals in 28 minutes.

Walker scored 10 points (3-13 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Wednesday's victory over the Magic. Walker scored 11 points in his debut for the Heat and was not shy about putting up shots in this game. He is worth adding to your watch list as he may become fantasy relevant should he continue to see similar playing time.

Walker will join the Heat on a 10-day contract, but he will not be available for Friday's game against the Knicks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.Walker likely wouldn't have seen many minutes, even with Chris Bosh (lung) sidelined. Bosh is in danger of missing the rest of the season, and while that could open up a bit of opportunity, Walker won't necessarily get significant run when he's ready. Miami's next game is scheduled for Saturday against the Pelicans.

Walker, formerly known as Bill Walker, will be recalled by the Heat, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.The 27-year-old has previously spent time in the NBA before, although a first name change doesn't hide the fact that he's always played an ancillary role wherever he's played. That being said, the Heat dumped multiple small forwards before the trade deadline which leaves a window of opportunity for Walker to get some playing time behind Luol Deng, although he'll likely share minutes off the bench with rookie James Ennis.

Bill Walker has signed a contract with the Austin Toros of the D-League. The Toros are an affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs, but Walker's deal is purely of the D-League variety. He was reportedly set to sign with the Grizzlies in January but that never came to fruition.

The Grizzlies will reportedly sign Bill Walker. Walker worked out for the Cavs in the offseason, but he never got a bite after being thrown around as a potential minimum salary guy. He'll join the Grizzlies bench on a free agent deal.
