Whiteside (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jazz, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside will miss yet another game due to lower back tightness. His absence shouldn't impact Sacramento's rotation.

Whiteside (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old hasn't seen the court since April 21 but could be available for Sunday's season finale. Whiteside wasn't a part of the rotation prior to the injury, but he could see some minutes if available with the Kings missing multiple rotation pieces.

Whiteside won't play in Friday's game against Memphis due to lower back tightness.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside is officially out of this matchup with tightness in his lower back. The center hasn't played since April 21 against Minnesota, so Whiteside's absence Friday shouldn't affect the rotation.

Whiteside (coach's decision) didn't leave the bench Thursday in the Kings' 116-110 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
After missing time earlier this month due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Whiteside has been available for the Kings' last two games. He hasn't been included in head coach Luke Walton's rotation in either contest, and that appears unlikely to change even if Richaun Holmes (knee) and Marvin Bagley (groin) end up missing the Kings' final two regular-season contests. Sacramento will most likely let Whiteside walk when he becomes a free agent this summer.

Whiteside (COVID-19 protocols) is not listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against Oklahoma City.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside hasn't been involved in the rotation of late, but he'll be available if needed after a short stint in the league's health protocols. Whiteside last appeared in a game on April 21.

Whiteside has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Thunder due to the league's health and safety protocols, Jason Jones of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside has been a DNP-CD for the last eight games, so his absence shouldn't impact the Kings' rotation. His next chance to return will be Tuesday against Oklahoma City.

Whiteside (coach's decision) didn't see the court Sunday in the Kings' 117-113 loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Richaun Holmes' (hamstring) recent five-game absence created a brief window of opportunity for Whiteside, but the 31-year-old was immediately dropped from the rotation Sunday with Holmes getting the green light to play. Though Holmes was limited to 22 minutes in his first game back, head coach Luke Walton elected to dole out the remaining center minutes to Chimezie Metu and Damian Jones rather than Whiteside. The Kings should soon add Marvin Bagley (hand) back to the frontcourt mix, which will only further limit Whiteside's chances of getting regular run off the bench.

Whiteside ended with 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes during Sunday's 121-107 victory over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside played well despite the unfavorable matchup and is certainly trending in the right direction in terms of fantasy appeal. He only needs minutes in the low-20s to be considered a must-add player. As long as Richaun Holmes (hamstring) is out, Whiteside shouldn't be on any waiver wires.

Whiteside is starting Sunday's game against the Mavericks, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Whiteside will make his second start of the season after he averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game in his last two appearances. He'll take the place of Damian Jones in the starting lineup Sunday.

Whiteside totaled 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-5 FT), nine rebounds and four blocked shots across 23 minutes Wednesday in a loss to the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Though he didn't start the contest, Whiteside finished with more minutes than Sacramento's opener at center, Damian Jones. Whiteside's four blocks were his most since Feb. 15, and he tallied his most points since scoring 12 against Chicago on Feb. 20. The playing time hasn't been abundant for Whiteside this season, but his per-36 minute marks of 19.6 points, 14.4 boards and 3.5 blocks suggest he can still contribute when given the chance.
