Monroe (knee) will return to action, and start in Golden State Friday, Rusty Simmons of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is unexpected, yet welcomed, news for Monroe owners. He was originally expected to miss at least a few more games, but will give it a go in Golden State Friday. It remains to be seen if he will play his normal workload, but expect Milwaukee to be somewhat cautious with their star big man if his knee appears to be hampering his play.

Monroe (knee) will go through pregame workouts, and is officially a game-time decision Friday, Monte Poole of CSNBayArea.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is somewhat surprising news, as Monroe was expected to miss at least a few more games. He has missed the Bucks previous two contests, and is probably on the more unlikely to play side of questionable, but this is still encouraging news. Expect an update prior to tip-off.

Monroe (knee) participated in portions of Friday's shootaround, Diamond Leung of Bay Area News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe is expected to miss 7-to-10 days, so it's very encouraging to see that he's already participating in portions of the Bucks' shootaround. If all goes well, he'll miss just the next few games, which should give Monroe the opportunity to return for a matchup with the 76ers on Dec. 23. Until he moves back into the lineup, look for John Henson and Miles Plumlee to soak up the extra minutes at center.

Monroe (knee) is expected to miss 7-to-10 days, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was a late scratch from Tuesday's loss to the Lakers, and he also sat out Wednesday's defeat at the hands of the Clippers due to a Grade 1 left MCL sprain. Both Monroe and the Bucks have downplayed the ailment, and while the team has not issued a timetable, Monroe is expected to miss around a week. Considering the injury occurred Tuesday morning, he figures to remain out Friday against Golden State, as well as Sunday against Phoenix, with the possibility that he could be back for a matchup with the 76ers on Dec. 23. In Monroe's absence, John Henson will continue to start at center, with Miles Plumlee serving as the backup.

Monroe (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with the Clippers, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was a late scratch from Tuesday's loss to the Lakers after banging knees with a teammate during practice. With the Bucks on a back-to-back, Monroe will again be held out, meaning John Henson figures to make another start at center with Miles Plumlee serving as the backup. Monroe's next chance to take the court will come Friday in Oakland against Golden State.

Monroe (knee) will be re-evaluated Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Charles Gardner reports.
EDGE Analysis
He bumped knees with a teammate at shootaround, and was a late scratch for Tuesday's game with soreness in his left knee. It sounds like it could just be a contusion, but owners will want to check back prior to Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

Monroe is a late scratch Tuesday against the Lakers with a sore left knee, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Charles Gardner reports.
EDGE Analysis
This news came about a half hour prior to tipoff, so many owners in daily leagues were likely left with precious few options. John Henson and Johnny O'Bryant figure to see extra run in place of Monroe.

Monroe tallied a team-high and season-high 28 points (11-16 FG, 6-7 FT), 11 rebounds and five assists over 36 minutes in Saturday's 108-95 victory over the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was integral to the Bucks pulling off the shocking upset, putting together his fifth double-double in the last six games. It was also his first performance with at least 20 points since a Nov. 23 outing against his former Pistons teammates, and he accomplished it on the strength of a season-best 11 field goals. Monroe has been lackluster at times while adjusting to his new center role in Milwaukee, but it's performances such as Saturday's that exemplify why the Bucks targeted him in free agency this past offseason.

Monroe scored 16 points (8-16 FG) in 36 minutes Wednesday, adding 10 rebounds, two assists, and a steal in a loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being the unfortunate recipient of a monstrous DeAndre Jordan dunk, Monroe has now tallied four consecutive double-doubles -- averaging 16 points with 12.3 rebounds per game in that span. The former Georgetown Hoya has been the picture of consistency on an otherwise underachieving Bucks team.

Monroe posted 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, and three assists in 27 minutes in Monday's 90-88 win against the Blazers. He hit a key basket with seconds left to close the gap, which ultimately led to the win.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe has provided a steady influx of points, rebounds, steals, and blocks this season, as evidenced in his averages over the past five games -- 16 points, 10.2 rebounds, one steal, and 1.2 blocks. He's also been as consistent as ever, with his game-by-game production being more-or-less close to what we'd expect from the big man. He may not be a blocking specialist, but his ability to grab steals and shoot a solid percentage from the line (74 percent) makes him valuable as a forward-center.
