Monroe finished with eight points (4-9 FG), seven rebounds and three assists across 21 minutes during Monday's 103-94 win over the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe played just seven minutes during the team's previous game, putting up zeros across the board. Despite seeing limited run, he can often put up solid numbers, however. Excluding the seven-minute contest, he's averaging 8.7 points, 6.3 rebounds across 18.7 minutes per game this season. That said, until he starts consistently getting more time on the floor, he can probably be avoided in many fantasy formats.

Monroe (calf) will play in the Bucks' opener Wednesday against the Celtics, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was battling a sore calf near the end of the preseason, but the issue was never considered overly serious. Expect the veteran to again serve as the first big man off the bench, as was the case for most of last season. In 2016-17, Monroe posted averages of 11.7 points, 6.6 rebounds 2,3 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Monroe won't play during Friday's preseason finale while dealing with left calf soreness.
EDGE Analysis
Considering it's being labeled "soreness", the injury likely won't spill into the regular season. That said, he should be considered day-to-day. In his stead, John Henson and Thon Maker should see extended run.

Monroe recorded 12 points (6-8 FG), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 17 minutes Monday in a preseason loss to the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe was the go to scoring option off the bench for the Bucks last season, averaging 11.7 points on 53.3 percent shooting while playing a career low 22.5 minutes per game. Milwaukee's second unit will have a different look with Malcolm Brogdon -- a player Monroe had developed strong chemistry with -- moving to the starting lineup, however Monroe should still be the offensive focal point coming off the bench.

Monroe plans to exercise his $17.8 million player option for 2017-18 and remain with the Bucks, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
With traditional back-to-the-basket centers in the mold of Monroe no longer possessing as much market value as they did a few seasons ago, it was unlikely that the 27-year-old would have landed a larger annual salary had he decided to become a free agent. Since Monroe's contract set to expire after this season, the Bucks could finally have better luck trying to trade him away in the coming months, but while he remains with the team, he'll likely serve as a go-to scoring option for the second unit. Monroe averaged 11.7 points, 6.6 boards, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 22.5 minutes per game in 2015-16.

Monroe tallied 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block across 23 minutes Thursday in a 104-77 win over the Raptors in Game 3 of the series.
EDGE Analysis
After Khris Middleton posted 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field in the first quarter to help the Bucks race to a 32-12 advantage, Monroe took the torch in the second quarter, amassing 12 of his 16 points. While it appeared heading into the season that Monroe was destined to be moved to another team, he's found a niche with the upstart Bucks as a second-unit center and has dominated during the series. He's averaged 16.0 points (on 54.8 shooting), 8.7 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 23.7 minutes per game in three contests.

Monroe scored 14 points (5-11 FG, 4-4 FT) while adding 15 rebounds, two assists and a steal in 26 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 97-83 Game 1 win over the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
The 15 boards were a game high and Monroe was a huge presence on the defensive end in the upset win, drawing a few charges in addition to his work on the glass. Thon Maker remains the starter in the Bucks' lineup, but Monroe should continue seeing the bigger share of the court time at center going forward.

Monroe finished with 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block across 22 minutes during Saturday's 90-82 victory over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe made quick work of the 76ers' poor bench unit, surpassing his season averages in points, assists, steals and blocks in just 22 minutes of action. In doing so, he effectively ended his four-game slump, where he totaled just 21 points. Though Malcolm Brogdon (back), who has great chemistry with Monroe, was still sidelined Saturday, Monroe found his stride and is likely hoping it can carry over to Monday's tilt against the Hornets.

Monroe finished with four points (2-4 FG), two rebounds and two steals across 18 minutes during Thursday's 104-89 loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe has seen a large dip in his production in the four games that Malcolm Brogdon (back) has missed, averaging just 5.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 20.0 minutes per game. In the 20 games since the All-Star break that Brogdon was healthy, Monroe averaged 13.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 24.9 minutes per game -- a significant difference compared to late. Fantasy owners in both year-long formats and DFS should probably keep an eye on Brogdon's health, as he's a large part of what makes Monroe effective within the Bucks' offense.

Monroe ended up with 14 points (7-15 FG) while posting 10 rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes in Friday's 100-97 win against the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Monroe has been a steady contributor for fantasy owners despite the fact he comes off the bench. He plays way more than Thon Maker, the starter, who has very little fantasy appeal outside of the deepest of leagues.
