There's a strong chance this might have been just a bad game for Allen, though, as he's hitting 36.4 percent of his shots from beyond the arc since the beginning of February.

Allen notched 24 points (8-17 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Sunday's 123-113 win over the Lakers.

Allen was red-hot from three in Sunday's contest, connecting on a team-high-tying mark from three en route to leading the Suns in scoring in an offensive outburst. Allen has buried six or more threes in six games this season, surpassing the 20-point mark in seven appearances.

Allen produced 15 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two steals across 36 minutes during Friday's 114-110 loss to the Rockets.

Allen has been playing well of late and has scored in double digits in four of his last five appearances, showing he is not afraid of having more responsibility on offense if called upon, especially with Bradley Beal (hamstring) sidelined once again. Allen's real value lies in his three-point shooting and his ability to stuff the stat sheet, however, and on that note, he produced another solid outing. He's averaging 12.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.6 steals per game over his last five contests.

Allen closed with eight points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, 14 assists, one block and two steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 129-115 victory over the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

Allen hasn't been a big distributor this season, as he was averaging a modest 2.9 assists per contest coming into Thursday. However, he stepped into more of a passing role against Utah with Devin Booker (hip) sidelined, and Allen ended up almost doubling his previous career-best mark of eight dimes. It's unlikely that he'll suddenly become a viable source of assists given his career numbers, so his moderate fantasy appeal should continue to center on his ability to knock down triples.

Allen (ankle) isn't on the injury report for Friday's game against Atlanta, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Allen missed Wednesday's win over Brooklyn due to an ankle injury, but he's been cleared to return following a one-game absence. Over 15 appearances in January, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 32.3 minutes per game, and it seems unlikely that he'll have significant limitations Friday.

Allen (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nets, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

EDGE Analysis

When Allen went down during Monday's game, Eric Gordon started the second half, so that could again be the case Wednesday. There will also be more minutes available for Josh Okogie and Keita Bates-Diop. Allen's next chance to play will come Friday in Atlanta.
