Frank Vogel said Tuesday that X-rays came back negative on Allen's right ankle, and he should be considered day-to-day, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has dealt with a right ankle injury through the first two games of the series against Minnesota and should be considered questionable for Game 3 on Friday. If Allen is unable to suit, Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neale will likely receive increased playing time.

EDGE Analysis
Allen has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a right ankle sprain. The 28-year-old guard failed to make a three in Game 1 but shot 46.1 percent on 5.9 three-point attempts per contest during the regular season. Allen won't operate on a minutes restriction.

Coach Frank Vogel said Allen (ankle) was a limited participant during Monday's practice and is questionable for Game 2 against the Timberwolves on Tuesday, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen tallied four points (0-3 3Pt) and five rebounds in 25 minutes before leaving the Game 1 loss with a sprained right ankle. X-rays returned negative, and the sharpshooter could at least do parts of Monday's practice, both positive signs. However, his availability will likely come down to a game-time decision.

Allen (ankle) got x-rays after Saturday's loss to the Timberwolves but they came out negative, according to head coach Frank Vogel, and the diagnosis is an ankle sprain, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The outcome of the x-rays was positive, though it's uncertain whether Allen will be able to recover to feature in Game 2 of the series Tuesday given the quick turnaround between games. Allen finished the series opener Saturday with four points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes.

Allen (ankle) is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was involved in a heavy collision during the third quarter, and it remains to be seen if the Suns will bring him back for the final stretch of the contest. If he's unable to return, then Royce O'Neale, Eric Gordon and even Josh Okogie could be in line to see more minutes off the bench.

Allen and the Suns agreed on a four-year, $70 million extension Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen, who was sent to the Suns in the blockbuster three-team trade that landed Damian Lillard in Milwaukee, was set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer but has been rewarded for his career-high campaign and will stick in Phoenix for at least a few more years. With Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in and out of the lineup, Allen stepped up on a nightly basis and averaged 13.4 points on 49.9/46.1/87.8 shooting splits across 75 appearances (74 starts). The sharpshooter made 2.7 three-pointers per contest and connected on at least eight three-pointers seven times in 2023-24, setting a franchise record.

Allen closed Sunday's 125-106 victory over the Timberwolves with 20 points (8-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals in 33 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
With Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal all healthy to wrap up the regular season, Allen's usage has been capped the last couple of weeks, but he still provided solid numbers. Over his last six games, the 28-year-old wing has averaged 14.7 points, 5.3 boards, 2.7 threes, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals, recording multiple steals four times.

Allen registered 19 points (6-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes during Friday's 108-107 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was back in the starting lineup after ceding the starting role to Royce O'Neale Wednesday evening. He scored nine of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and was the biggest contributor to the late-game rally that helped Phoenix earn the victory. Allen's replacement Wednesday was an outlier event without much explanation, and although O'Neale has two inches on Allen, the Suns are likely to continue with Allen in a starting role as they enter the playoffs.
