Jerrett was waived by the Trail Blazers on Saturday, RealGM.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jerrett was battling for the Trail Blazers' final roster spot with the likes of Greg Stiemsma and Tim Quarterman, but the team opted to go with Quarterman, which now places Jerrett on the waiver wire. Jerrett will likely open the season in the NBA D-League and could play for the Raptors affiliate, the Raptors 905.

Jerrett signed a training camp deal with the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The contract is non-guaranteed, so Jerrett will have to impress in camp to earn his way onto the final, 15-man roster, which seems like a longshot at this point. Jerrett did not play in the NBA last season after being waived by the Jazz during training camp.

Jerrett was waived by the Jazz on Thursday, Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jerrett has struggled to keep his NBA dream alive since being drafted 40th overall by Portland in the 2013 NBA Draft. He could catch on elsewhere at a later point in the season, but it appears that most teams in the NBA will be looking elsewhere.

Jerrett exited Monday's summer league contest due to a dislocated right shoulder. Jerrett started at power forward and played 13 minutes before injuring himself on a block attempt. His availability moving forward is unknown, but it's a good bet the Jazz will proceed with caution.

Jerrett was dealt in a mid-season trade that sent him to Utah but the rookie still spent most of his season in the D-League. Jerrett started his career in Oklahoma City but was a piece in the Enes Kanter trade in February. Perhaps most importantly the former Arizona standout only played in eight total NBA games for a total of 51 minutes and heads into the offseason with a contract that isn't guaranteed. Consequentially the 21-year-old is not an option to be considered for standard league draft purposes next season.

Jerrett will be available to play Monday, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports. Jerrett, who has spent time in the D-League, hasn't appeared in an NBA game since Feb. 27, but he'll likely see some garbage time minutes in what's ultimately a meaningless game for the Jazz.
