VanVleet is starting Sunday against Indiana at shooting guard, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet will remain with the first unit for now even after the return of Kyle Lowry from a back injury, although VanVleet is expected to head back to the bench Tuesday when Kawhi Leonard (rest) re-joins the starting five. VanVleet has been more than adequate for the Raptors as a fill-in point guard, (12.4 points, 4.0 boards and 4.8 rebounds over the last five games), but his minutes will decrease following Sunday's tilt.

VanVleet totaled 11 points (3-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two assists, one rebound, one steal and one block across 23 minutes in Friday's 116-87 loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet continues to start in place of Kyle Lowry (back) for the interim, but he hasn't nearly filled the void Lowry's absence has created. He left Friday briefly after a hard fall but returned later, so he should be fine to maintain the starting gig until Lowry is back.

VanVleet (shoulder) checked back into Friday's game against Orlando after briefly heading to the locker room, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet took a hard fall on what appeared to be his right shoulder, but he's evidently good to go after being examined by Toronto's training staff in the locker room.

VanVleet took a hard fall on his right shoulder during Friday's game against the Magic and went to the locker room, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet stayed on the ground for some time to collect himself, but then got up under his own power and went back to the locker room. He should be considered questionable to return.

VanVleet logged 38 minutes and supplied 16 points (5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and one rebound Wednesday in the Raptors' 106-104 win over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Starting at point guard again with Kyle Lowry (back) sidelined for the fifth time in six games, VanVleet didn't offer much as a distributor but at least rediscovered his stroke from downtown after going 6-for-19 on three-point tries over the previous three contests. He'll see his fantasy ceiling take a hit once Lowry is back in the fold, but VanVleet's ability to play at either guard spot should prop up his minutes totals enough to give him some value in most 12-team formats.

VanVleet will start at point guard in Wednesday's game against the Heat, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet returned to the bench Saturday with Kyle Lowry (thigh) back in the starting lineup, but with the All-Star point guard out again Wednesday, VanVleet will lead the Toronto offense yet again. In eight games as a starter this season, VanVleet is averaging nearly 33 minutes per game and averaging 13.1 points and 5.9 assists in that time.

VanVleet will come off the bench Saturday against the 76ers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kyle Lowry (thigh) and Danny Green (knee) back, VanVleet will return to his usual bench role. In that role, he's averaged 8.7 points, 4.0 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 22.7 minutes.

VanVleet produced 11 points (4-17 FG, 3-11 3Pt), two rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 99-96 victory over Indiana.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet returned to the starting lineup after missing the previous game, replacing the injured Kyle Lowry (thigh). He produced a strange stat line going 4-of-17 from the field while adding just one assist. He did, however, add two steals and two blocks to salvage the night for his owners. As long as Lowry is on the sidelines, VanVleet is worth streaming in across many formats.

VanVleet will start Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
VanVleet will get the start after missing Sunday's tilt with the Nuggets due to back soreness. He started the previous three games, averaging 12.0 points and 8.0 assists in 31.6 minutes with Kyle Lowry (thigh) out.

Coach Nick Nurse confirmed that VanVleet (back) would be available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
The back issue prevented VanVleet from suiting up in Sunday's 95-86 loss to the Nuggets, but the Wichita State product was never in much jeopardy of missing additional time after being labeled probable heading into Wednesday's contest. With Kyle Lowry (thigh) set to miss a third consecutive game, VanVleet should step back into a high-minute role as the Raptors' starting point guard. In the previous game he started in place of Lowry back on Dec. 14 in Portland, VanVleet scored a season-high 21 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and added eight assists and four boards across 38 minutes.
