VanVleet did everything he could to lead the Raptors to victory in this one, but his efforts were not enough. Even though he's been struggling with his shot for most of the season, it seems as if the floor general is starting to turn things around. Aside from scoring exactly 39 points in his last two outings, he's now scored 20 or more points in four of his last five contests. He's still delivering solid value based on his volume and peripheral stats, but an uptick in the efficiency department would increase his value considerably.

VanVleet ended with 39 points (13-25 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 11-11 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one block and four steals across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 124-123 loss to the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

The Raptors came up short in this game, but VanVleet was massive in this contest and had one of his best performances of the campaign. The star guard has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four outings, but overall, he's been disappointing and is averaging only 19.1 points per game in December while shooting 37.6 percent from the field and 24.6 percent from deep in that span.

VanVleet accumulated 20 points (4-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 10-12 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and four steals over 42 minutes during Sunday's 111-99 loss to the Magic.

EDGE Analysis

VanVleet did most of his damage in the third quarter as he scored 11 points and dished out four assists. It was the first time all season that he made 10 free throws in a game. He's been drawing more fouls recently and has attempted 27 free throws in the last three games after averaging just 3.6 attempts over his first 18 contests of the year.

VanVleet ended Wednesday's 126-113 win over the Lakers with 25 points (8-20 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds and seven assists over 30 minutes.

VanVleet couldn't find his shooting stroke from beyond the arc in this one, and he needed 20 attempts from the field to rack up 25 points. Even so, he ended the evening tied for the Toronto lead in scoring with Pascal Siakam. The 28-year-old showed that he may be ready to come out of his recent slump after averaging 9.2 points over his last five matchups heading into Wednesday's clash.

VanVleet produced eight points (3-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 38 minutes during Monday's 116-110 loss to the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

VanVleet was stifled by Boston's strong defense and is shooting just 29.4 percent from the field over his past eight appearances. He's still posting 13.8 points and 5.9 assists during that stretch, but Toronto certainly needs better production out of its starting point guard, especially against top-tier opponents like the Celtics.

VanVleet ended with 10 points (4-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, six assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Friday's 114-105 loss to the Nets.

EDGE Analysis

VanVleet couldn't find his shot from the field, particularly from range in this one. Three-point shooting has been a problem over the last two games for VanVleet, who connected on just one of his 14 attempts between the contests, but it's not something to panic about yet. However, it will be worth monitoring to see if it becomes a trend, which would be a bit more worrisome from a fantasy standpoint.

VanVleet totaled two points (1-8 FG, 0-7 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and one steal across 20 minutes before getting ejected from Wednesday's 126-108 loss to the Pelicans.

VanVleet received his second technical early in the third quarter after he clapped in the direction of an official. VanVleet was likely frustrated by his poor shooting performance, and the Raptors were unable to come out on top without their star guard.

VanVleet had 13 points (5-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Monday's 100-88 win over the Cavaliers.

EDGE Analysis

VanVleet saw his typical heavy volume of shots in the contest, but he wasn't particularly efficient Monday, hitting just one-third of his attempts from the field. There isn't a ton to read into here. VanVleet is a key piece in Toronto's rotation and should continue to be heavily involved, and he provides value across numerous fantasy categories. This was, however, his lowest point total of November.

VanVleet ended with 26 points (7-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 9-10 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Saturday's 105-100 victory over the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

VanVleet paced the Raptors in scoring with 18 points in the first half on 5-of-11 shooting from the field as the team fought its way back from an early 15-point deficit in the first quarter to take the lead at the break. He chipped in another eight points in the third quarter before finishing with 26 on the night, which tied OG Anunoby for the game high. VanVleet also made a season-high nine free-throws in the contest and has made at least six in each of the last three games.
