Green provided 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds, and a steal over 25 minutes in Sunday's 111-98 loss to the Thunder.

Green was particularly aggressive with his shot and showed nice touch from long range in his most extensive playing time to date in the exhibition slate. The 24-year-old figures to receive another long long in the Nuggets' preseason finale against the Jazz on Thursday.

Green recorded 3.4 points (38% FG, 30% 3Pt, 83% FT), 0.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.3 steals in 10 minutes per game during 43 regular season games in 2014-15. The 24-year-old rookie has plenty to improve heading into his sophomore season, and he'll likely receive plenty of action for the Nuggets' Summer League squad come July. Green is on the payroll for $0.8 million in 2015-16.

Green will start in Monday's game against the Clippers. The Nuggets are resting some of their normal starters so Green is in line to see an abnormal amount of minutes Monday.

Green scored 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with three assists and one steal in 25 minutes Saturday. Green played extra minutes with Ty Lawson (forearm) out and Jameer Nelson (hip) leaving after 13 minutes. Lawson seems likely to return Wednesday, so Green will probably not see run like this again, but if Nelson and Lawson aren't healthy, Green will share ball-handling duties with Randy Foye and becomes a sneaky add.
