Sixers waive G Eric Maynor. After he looked great with the Blazers last year, Maynor just fell on his face this season. He can't score and is unlikely to get playing time with another team.

Despite playing 16 minutes off Philly's bench on Sunday, backup PG Eric Maynor went scoreless with one assist and three turnovers. Lorenzo Brown is out with torn wrist ligaments and Maynor should continue to pick up decent minutes. He scored 13 points in each of the past two games, putting him on the radar in deep leagues, but those performances belie his season-long 34.4 percent shooting. Proceed with caution.

Eric Maynor scored 13 points with five boards, one assist, one block and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday. He scored 13 points against the Magic on Wednesday thanks to some garbage time and did it again. You know the Sixers are bad when backup point guards can actually put up deep-league value because of the extended playing time in the fourth. It might backfire, but owners in deep leagues can think about using Maynor against very good teams like the Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Eric Maynor will play backup point guard on Monday night vs. the Bucks. This move is very likely to stick and he seems to have leapfrogged Lorenzo Brown. Maynor is highly unlikely to see minutes in the teens and has no fantasy value, especially after a sub-par year in Washington.

Eric Mayor was traded to the Sixers in a three-team deal on Thursday. After he played very well with the Blazers last season, Maynor fell on his face with the Wizards this season. He is shooting 29.2 percent from the field and has played just 9.3 minutes per game as John Wall's backup. He'll have to compete with Tony Wroten for backup minutes and is not a pickup in almost all formats. The Sixers also received a second-round pick next year from the Wizards and a second-round pick from Denver in 2016.

Eric Mayor has been included in a possible deal for Andre Miller. He will likely be shipped elsewhere upon the Wiz-Nuggets deal's completion. Maynor has really fallen off a cliff after a somewhat promising 2012-13 season, so there's no reason to add him speculatively just yet.

Eric Maynor (Achilles) will play against the Knicks on Thursday. He missed Tuesday's game with a sore Achilles, but the injury is not considered serious. Maynor had an ACL reconstruction earlier in his career, but this Achilles issue seems somewhat isolated. He could get minutes at shooting guard behind Bradley Beal on top of backing up John Wall, but he's not worth drafting in most leagues.

Eric Maynor could see some time at shooting guard, according to the Washington Post. Bradley Beal and Martell Webster are going to see the overwhelming majority of the time at the two. The talk of Maynor playing some shooting guard says a couple things: John Wall is going to see a ton of minutes and rookie Glen Rice Jr. will have a tough time seeing playing time in his first year. Maynor won't be worth drafting in most leagues.

Eric Maynor agreed to a multi-year deal with the Wizards on Monday. The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. The Wizards were in the market for a backup point guard and were really left out in the cold last season due to John Wall's knee injury. Maynor had a great second half with the Blazers last year and most concerns about his ACL surgery have subsided. The Wizards have Martell Webster next on their to-do list.

Eric Maynor was contacted by the Wizards on Monday. The Blazers didn't give him a qualifying offer thanks to drafting C.J. McCollum, so Maynor is an unrestricted free agent. Like most reports at this stage, there's no indication of how serious the Wizards are in acquiring the VCU product. He did a nice job reviving his career following 2012 ACL surgery, averaging 6.9 points, 4.0 assists and 0.4 steals in 21.2 minutes in 37 games with the Blazers last season.
