Lamb has been waived by the Mavericks, according to the team's official site. Lamb will not get a shot to catch on with another team or may look to join a D-League team.

Lamb did not play due to a coach's decision in Dallas' preseason loss to the Rockets. Lamb signed a non-guranteed deal with the Mavericks and will have a hard time making a talented Dallas roster.

Lamb signed a non-guaranteed training camp deal with the Mavericks on Monday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. A second-round pick of the Bucks in 2012, Lamb appeared in 23 games for Milwaukee before being dealt to Orlando as part of the Tobias Harris/J.J. Redick swap. Lamb saw limited minutes in 53 games last season but was waived in June. He'll join the Mavs on a non-guaranteed deal with an outside shot of cracking the final roster.

Lamb has failed to stick with both the Bucks and the Magic during his short-lived NBA career spanning two seasons thus far. Now, still just 22 years old, Lamb will try to make the Mavericks' roster during training camp.

Lamb started the second half of Friday's game after Jameer Nelson (knee) went down, but he has no fantasy value.

He can be left on the wire in most leagues.

Magic SG Doron Lamb played a season-high 32 minutes vs. the Nuggets, but he shot just 3-of-12 from the field to finish with eight points, four rebounds and two assists. One of his makes came from downtown, but he earned extra playing time due to the lopsided score, not to mention Arron Afflalo's absence, and there's no reason to think he'll be a reliable fantasy asset this season.

Doron Lamb saw some late action on Wednesday, playing 11 minutes with one board and one assist. It was his season debut after missing some practice time earlier this month. He shot 0-of-2 from the field and has been a lost Lamb in the Magic's rotation. He has no fantasy value.
