Carton registered 15 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Thursday's 102-83 Summer League win over the Rockets.

Carton looked calculated on the offensive end for a second straight appearance, as he also put together an impressive final line during Tuesday's exhibition against New Orleans. He'll aim to keep this momentum rolling into the final weekend of Summer League with the hope of earning himself an NBA opportunity with Portland or elsewhere.

Carton recorded 20 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 93-87 Summer League win over the Pelicans.

It was a standout performance from Carton, who came off the bench to match the team lead in dimes and pace the Trail Blazers in steals. The 24-year-old guard isn't currently under contract with an NBA club after spending most of 2024-25 in the G League, so he's aiming to make an impression and catch some attention around the league as part of Portland's Summer League roster.

The Raptors waived Carton (foot) on Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Carton, who was on a two-way contract with the Raptors, made just four appearances at the NBA level, averaging 8.3 minutes per game. He's been solid with the G League's Raptors 905, averaging 17.3 points, 7.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds. Carton hadn't seen any action for either Toronto or Raptors 905 since Nov. 27 while tending to a left foot injury, and the organization's decision to cut him loose could be in part due to his poor health. Carton shouldn't have much trouble catching on with a G League team once he moves past the foot injury.

Carton (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

Carton continues to miss time with an ankle injury he suffered during G League action. Even when cleared to suit up, he likely won't have a path to NBA minutes, especially with Scottie Barnes (eye) and Immanuel Quickley (elbow) nearing returns.
