The Knicks have waived Devin Green. Green was competing for a roster spot but never had a realistic chance of cracking the roster. The team also waived Chris Hunter.

Devin Green is with the Knicks for training camp and has a shot at making the roster. New York is looking to add depth in their backcourt, but even if he makes the roster Green won't be a fantasy asset. Veteran swingman James Posey is also "on the radar."
