Although Bane spent the majority of the game draining buckets, his single assist came on a touchdown pass to Paolo Banchero with 40 seconds left, the score that ultimately gave them the victory. Bane has now scored 30-plus points in back-to-back games, and in three out of his last four contests overall.

Bane posted 34 points (12-18 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block across 40 minutes in Saturday's 113-110 triple-overtime loss to the Suns.

EDGE Analysis

Bane did everything in his power to carry the Magic to a victory, but a last-second game-winning three from Jalen Green prevented him from doing so. Bane has now scored 30-plus points in two of his last three games while putting up at least 22 in five of his last six contests, so he's doing an excellent job operating as the Magic's No. 2 option on offense behind Paolo Banchero, and even taking over when the game calls for it.

Bane supplied 31 points (11-17 FG, 8-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 116-108 loss to the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Bane was scorching to begin Wednesday's game, as he dropped in 20 points on eight shots in his first 10 minutes of play, and he wound up matching his career high in three-point makes. Bane has now scored 20-plus points in four straight, and the Magic have won three of their past four games.

Bane closed with 25 points (8-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 31 minutes during Monday's 118-99 win over the Bucks.

EDGE Analysis

Bane connected from all over in Monday's win. His only misses came from behind the arc, where he still shot 40 percent on five tries. While Bane's three-point percentage is at a career-low 35.7 percent, he's one of the best free-throw shooters in the league this season, shooting 93.0 percent from the charity stripe.

Bane ended Thursday's 118-98 victory over the Nets with 23 points (7-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds, four assists and four steals over 32 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Bane was held to just seven points on 3-for-7 shooting in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Thunder, so it was nice to see him get things back on track Thursday evening. He did a good job of taking advantage of Brooklyn's lackluster effort on defense, repeatedly attacking the rim and cashing in on easy looks. Bane will look to keep his foot on the gas pedal Saturday with a favorable matchup against the Jazz.

The former Grizzly is beginning to find a groove in his first season with the Magic. Bane has scored 20-plus points in three straight games and in seven of the last 10, averaging 21.4 points, 3.7 boards, 3.5 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.0 steals over that latter stretch while shooting 51.9 percent from the floor and 42.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Bane couldn't be stopped from beyond the arc Friday, and he propelled the Magic to a come-from-behind victory with 16 points in the fourth quarter while connecting on all six of his field-goal attempts in the frame (including 4-for-4 from downtown). It was the sixth time in Bane's six-year NBA career that he connected on at least seven triples in a game, and he was one shy of matching his career best that he set in October 2022 as a member of the Grizzlies. Bane has averaged 23.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 3.6 threes and 1.0 steals over 36.4 minutes per game across his last five outings.

Bane ended with 23 points (10-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt), one rebound, five assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 133-124 victory over Miami.

Bane had some shooting woes in December and early January, but he seems to be turning things around. He has scored at least 20 points while shooting at least 50 percent from the floor in three of his last four appearances. Bane has reached the 20-point mark in five of his past eight games, making 48.4 percent of his shots and 35 percent of his threes during that span.

Bane logged 19 points (7-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during the Magic's 114-98 loss to the Celtics on Monday.

Bane was responsible for three of the Magic's 11 three-pointers Monday and finished as the team's second-leading scorer behind Paolo Banchero (37 points), though no other Orlando player scored more than 15 points during the loss. Bane was one of two Magic starters to reach the 20-point threshold, as Paolo Banchero paced the team with 23 points, but it was Bane who displayed more efficiency. He looked more comfortable from downtown throughout the night, hitting three treys in five attempts despite converting at a clip of 20.8 percent from deep in his last six games entering Thursday. Overall, it was a promising sign to see Bane get back on track offensively after being held in check in his previous two appearances.
