It was a much-needed breakout game, as DeRozan had been averaging just 12.5 points, 4.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 39 percent from the field over his last six appearances.

Although there was no official announcement about a minute restriction, DeRozan returned to action and played only 24 minutes after a one-game absence. He connected on just four of his 13 shot attempts and appeared a step slow, which is likely due to lingering effects of his recent illness.

DeRozan will serve as one of Sacramento's best scoring options as they plod through the rest of the season woefully undermanned. The sorry state of affairs makes Sacramento players risky fantasy calls in the second half of the season, but DeRozan's high volume will keep him relevant down the stretch.

Although Monday's game was a blowout, it's still beginning to look like the Kings are embracing a youth movement. With DeRozan's value starting to dip, fantasy managers should remain patient and hope his playing time climbs back up a bit. Over his last six contests, the veteran forward has averaged 14.0 points, 2.8 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 24.6 minutes per game while shooting just 39.4 percent from the floor.

DeRozan had one of his worst performances of the season, recording fewer than seven points for the first time since mid-November. While this was a disappointing effort, DeRozan had scored at least 20 points in three of his previous four games. In 50 appearances this season, the veteran has averaged 19.0 points, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.1 minutes per game, good enough for top 60 value in standard leagues.
