Wright is questionable to return Saturday after suffering a right adductor injury, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Wright went down with a thigh injury late in the first quarter, having seen just four minutes of run prior. Considering he's being considered questionable, the injury likely isn't overly serious.

Wright had 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3PT), nine assists, five rebounds and four steals in 28 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 114-100 win at the Lakers.

Wright is yet to start a game this season but his performances have been inconsistent -- this 17-point outing was his second-highest mark of the season, but he has scored 10 or more points just twice in his last seven games. Those inconsistencies might conspire against his value going forward.

In his first year with the Mavericks, Wright is converting on a career-high 50 percent of his shots and playing 22.5 minutes per game. The 27-year-old comes off the bench, with Luka Doncic starting and playing a majority of the time as the Mavericks' primary ball handler, and as a result, isn't expected to see a major upgrade in the rotation.

Wright had his best game in quite some time Saturday, dropping 15 points to go with three steals. The production was certainly needed from a fantasy perspective, however, the playing time remains a concern. He saw just 19 minutes during this one and seems to be capped at around that mark right now. He is a tough hold right now, although this effort may prolong the waiting game for those hoping for a turnaround.

Wright had just six points, seven rebounds, and six assists in 24 minutes during Saturday's 138-122 victory over Memphis.

EDGE Analysis

Wright finished with serviceable production, however, garbage time was a contributing factor. He played the final 12 minutes of the game which allowed him to buoy his numbers, a saving grace for those that are hanging on. The upside is certainly there for Wright but given his current role and subsequent lack of production, he is bordering on a drop in standard leagues.

Wright posted two points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one block across 26 minutes during Friday's 106-102 loss to the Knicks.

Wright started off the season strong, averaging 11.4 points on 7.2 shots across his first four appearances. Since then, he's averaging 3.3 points on 4.0 shots. With Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis accounting for so much of the Mavericks' usage, it might be difficult for Wright to find a consistent role in the offense.

Wright produced 12 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three boards, six assists and one steal in 24 minutes of a 109-106 win against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Wright produced his second double-digit scoring game of the season, but more important produced six assists to zero turnovers in a +14 effort as the Dallas bench proved crucial in the three-point win. All eyes will be on Dallas when the Los Angeles Lakers visit on Friday.

Wright tallied eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), five assists, and two rebounds in 23 minutes during Sunday's 121-119 loss to the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

Wright was back in the starting lineup Sunday but took a step back in terms of production. Based on the last two games, head coach Rick Carlisle may decide to keep Wright with the second unit. Wright has a ton of upside, however, a poor start to the season has seen him dropped in a number of leagues. If he is floating around on your waiver wire, he is worth grabbing to see what happens over the next few games.

Wright returned to the bench after starting on Opening Night, and looked much better on both ends of the court. Expect him to remain as one of the Mavericks' top options off the bench while Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson remain as the starting backcourt pairing, although he should see enough playing time to remain as a valuable mid-tier fantasy contributor across the board.
