Bembry was recalled from the D-League on Monday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie out of Saint Joseph's has appeared sparingly in only eight games for the Hawks, as 2016-17 continues to look as though it will be a developmental year for the 22-year-old. Bembry has played in two games for the Salt Lake City Stars and is averaging 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals, showing flashes of the all-around ability that piqued the interest of the Hawks, among other teams, prior to the draft.

Bembry was recalled from the D-League on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry rejoins the Hawks after an impressive showing with the Salt Lake City Stars on Thursday in which he recorded 35 points, six rebounds, and six assists in 35 minutes. The rookie isn't likely to see major minutes anytime soon for the Hawks, but the performance could lead to more opportunities in upcoming D-League games.

Bembry was assigned to the D-League on Wednesday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie out of Saint Joe's has played only sparingly off the bench through the first month of the season, so he'll head to the D-League for an opportunity to see increased minutes in a real game setting. With Bembry temporarily off the roster, Mike Scott is expected to return to active duty, though it's unclear if he'll play.

Bembry (coach's decision) didn't play in Tuesday's 93-90 win over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry hasn't seen the floor in three of the Hawks' last four games and is averaging just 3.3 minutes over his four total appearances on the season. It doesn't look like he'll be a member of the Hawks' rotation this season unless a rash of injuries hit the roster.

Bembry is in the starting lineup for Sunday's preseason game against the Magic, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Hawks are resting all but one starter for Sunday's outing, so they'll go with the starting lineup of Will Bynum, Bembry, Thabo Sefolosha, Paul Millsap and Mike Muscala. The first round pick out of St. Josephs isn't expected to play a major role for the Hawks throughout his rookie season, but Sunday should give him the opportunity to see extended minutes.

Bembry poured in 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two assists, a rebound and a steal over 19 minutes in Thursday's 104-83 preseason victory over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie is currently buried on the depth chart at the three, although additional performances of this caliber in preseason could conceivably allow him to make some headway. Bembry does have a higher-profile rookie, first-round pick Taurean Prince, ahead of him, but he brings some impressive college pedigree and a solid body of work from the Summer League (10.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals over 26.8 minutes per game).

Bembry signed a rookie contract with the Hawks last Friday, KL Chouinard of Hawks.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry recently finished off a stint with the Hawks in the Las Vegas Summer League, during which he averaged 10.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 26.8 minutes per game over his five appearances. As a rookie, Bembry figures to see scant time behind Kent Bazemore and Thabo Sefolosha on the wing, and he'll also have to compete with fellow first-round pick Taurean Prince for minutes.
