Bembry (groin) will not play in Friday's game against the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry continues to nurse a groin injury and remains without a clear timetable for a return, but the wing was also arrested for excessive speeding Friday morning, and there could still be some punishment headed his way for that. Either way, a return to the court before the All-Star break seems unlikely for Bembry.

Bembry (groin) was arrested for excessive speeding early Friday morning, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry was caught going 73 mph over the speed limit in a 55 mph zone, which explains why he was arrested. The league generally takes their time before reacting with suspensions to legal matters, so if Bembry is punished by the league, it may not even happen this season. He's currently dealing with a left groin strain and hasn't played since Dec. 22, however.

Bembry has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies, KL Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The last update on Bembry came a week ago when coach Mike Budenholzer said the wing was making progress, but it is still unclear exactly when he will be able to return to the hardwood. There's been no report of Bembry being able to return to practice yet, and he'll likely need to log at least a couple full sessions before he can be medically cleared to play.

Bembry (groin) is making progress in his recovery, but will not be ready to return ahead of Wednesday's game against Hornets, KL Chouinard of ATLand29.com reports. "He's making progress," coach Mike Budenholzer said. "I don't think (it's) enough to make any kind of status change, but he's making progress."
EDGE Analysis
Back on Jan. 23, Bembry was given a one-to-three week timetable for his return and while it's officially been a week, he's not quite yet ready to rejoin the lineup. It sounds like Bembry's groin is progressing well, but at this point, it appears he'll miss at least a few more games. Look for another update on his status once he's back to participating in full-contact practices.

Bembry (groin) has been ruled out for 1-to-3 weeks, Michael Cunningham of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry underwent an MRI that confirmed he was dealing with a left adductor strain, and that will require even more time off. Bembry has been out since the end of December, and it looks like he won't be able to return until the very end of January at the earliest. Prior to the injury, Bembry, who also missed a chunk of time to begin the year, was averaging roughly 20 minutes per game as a part of the regular rotation.

Bembry (groin) did not participate in Tuesday's practice and should tentatively be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors, KL Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry, who has been sidelined since late December, did some post-practice free-throw shooting, though that's not especially encouraging. Once he does return, he could take minutes away from Marco Belinelli, Malcolm Delaney and Luke Babbitt.

Bembry (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz, KL Chouinard of ATLand29.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry has been sidelined nearly a month now, but he recently logged a stint with the team's G-League affiliate and appears to be nearing the end of the recovery process. That said, he'll once again remain sidelined Monday, which makes Wednesday's tilt with the Raptors his next opportunity to take the court.

Bembry was recalled from the G-League on Sunday, Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry continues to work his way back from a groin injury, though it appears he could potentially be hitting the latter stages of his recovery considering this most recent rehab stint with the Hawks' G-League affiliate. There still doesn't seem to be a concrete timetable for a return and even when he's cleared to play, Bembry will merely add some depth on the wing.

Bembry (groin) was assigned to the G-League on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry, who reportedly still has a ways to go in his recovery from a nagging groin injury, is likely being sent down to the G-League with plans to have him practice with the team and ultimately take on some rehab assignments. That, however, could be a while, as Bembry still remains without a timetable for his return to the floor.

Coach Mike Budenholzer said Bembry (groin) has "still got a long way to go" in his recovery, KL Chouinard of ATLand29.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bembry has officially been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs and it sounds like he could be out a few more weeks after that as well. The injury was described as a nagging groin injury that continued to get worse, so don't be surprised if the Hawks continue to take a cautious approach with Bembry and give him all the rest he needs moving forward. For now, he remains without a concrete timetable for a return.
