Fox (not injury related) won't make his Spurs debut Monday against the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Fox was dealt from the Kings to the Spurs less than 24 hours ago, so he's still making his way to his new team. His next opportunity to debut will arrive Wednesday in Atlanta.

Per Shams Charania of ESPN, the Kings are finalizing a trade that will send Fox to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
In a three-team trade involving Chicago, Sacramento and San Antonio, Charania relays that the Spurs will receive Fox and Jordan McLaughlin, the Kings will get Zach LaVine (personal), Sidy Cissoko, three first-round picks and three second-round picks, and the Bulls will get back Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and their own 2025 first-round pick back from San Antonio. Charania reported this past Tuesday that the Kings had opened up talks to trade Fox, and the southpaw guard will now be heading to San Antonio to pair up with superstar center Victor Wembanyama and the rest of the Spurs' young core pieces in Devin Vassell, Stephon Castle, Jeremy Sochan and Keldon Johnson. The move will likely result in Fox and Castle serving as the Spurs' starting backcourt while Chris Paul retreats to a reserve role, as he did with the Warriors during the 2023-24 campaign.

Fox produced 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Saturday's 144-110 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Fox led the team with 20 points, but it wasn't nearly enough for a win in Saturday's rout. Over his last 10 contests, the star guard has averaged 19.1 points, 6.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 0.9 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers per game. Fox's future with Sacramento remains up in the air while his name circulates around trade rumors, but he continues to put up steady numbers for the Kings.

The Kings are expected to "open up talks to potentially deal" Fox ahead of Feb. 6 trade deadline, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Charania notes that the point guard should have plenty of suitors via trade and is believed to have a "destination in mind" ahead of his free agency in 2026. However, it's unclear if the Kings will work urgently to get a deal done ahead of the deadline, as Sacramento could prefer to wait until the offseason to revisit a trade if the offers it receives over the next week aren't satisfactory. Fox has appeared in 43 of the Kings' 46 games thus far, averaging 25.2 points, 6.2 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.5 steals in 37.2 minutes per game.

Fox (thumb) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Fox had a shaky status ahead of Saturday's game in New York, but he will play against the Knicks. The star point guard is having another stellar season for the Kings, averaging 25.4 points, 6.2 assists and a career-high 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor and 31.7 percent from deep.

Fox (thumb) participated in shootaround ahead of Saturday's game versus the Knicks, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox is officially listed as questionable Saturday due to a sprained right thumb. However, the star guard's participation in shootaround is a good sign of his availability against New York.

Fox is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Knicks due to a right thumb sprain.
EDGE Analysis
The thumb injury is a new development for Fox, who posted 17 points (7-24 FG, 3-10 3Pt), six assists, five rebounds, one block and one steal across 40 minutes during Thursday's loss to the Nuggets. Over his last five outings, the star guard has averaged 16.4 points, 7.4 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting only 32.2 percent from the field in 37.8 minutes per contest. If Fox is sidelined, Keon Ellis and Devin Carter should both see an uptick in playing time.

Fox had 17 points (7-24 FG, 3-10 3Pt), six assists, five rebounds, one block and one steal across 40 minutes during Thursday's 132-123 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Fox struggled from the field again and has gone through a rough stretch scoring lately. The star guard has shot only 32.2 percent from the floor over his last five appearances, during which he has averaged 16.4 points, 7.4 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks in 37.8 minutes per contest. Fox has reached 20-plus points only one time in that inefficient five-game span, though he has still stuffed the stat sheet, which is encouraging for fantasy managers.

Fox provided 20 points (9-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt), 11 rebounds, six assists and one block over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 130-115 loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Fox usually hits the double-double milestone via a high assist total, but Fox achieved the point-rebound double-double for the second time this season during Tuesday's defeat. Although Fox is enjoying some of the best numbers of his eight-year career, he's recorded only six double-doubles, which is surprising considering his voluminous production.

Fox (glute) recorded 26 points (9-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one block across 33 minutes in Sunday's 124-119 win over the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
In his return from a three-game absence due to a bruised right glute, Fox ceded more of the distribution responsibilities to backcourt mate Malik Monk (team-high nine assists), but Fox made up for the atypically low assist count by displaying some rare hot shooting from three-point land. Considering Fox came into the contest converting only 32.1 percent of his three-point attempts on the season, fantasy managers shouldn't count on him providing more than one or two triples in most contests, but more importantly, the 27-year-old guard looked healthy and composed in his return to the court. Managers can feel safe in rolling out Fox for the Kings' upcoming three-game week.
