In fact, Fox has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight appearances, a span in which he's also averaged 8.8 assists per game. Those numbers make Fox the undisputed leader of Sacramento's offense, both as a scorer and as a playmaker.

Fox surpassed the 35-point mark for the second time this season and both games have come against the Pelicans -- he previously scored a season-high 43 points Jan. 17. Fox also ended with his second-highest assist output of the campaign, as he was responsible for more than half of the team's total point haul. Fox has also scored 20 or more points in six of his last seven appearances, and his role as Sacramento's go-to guy on offense gives him a decent floor across most formats, while he also possesses the upside to take over games on any given night.

Fox registered 30 points (12-26 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 3-8 FT), six rebounds, six assists and a steal across 32 minutes in Saturday's loss against the Heat.

Fox struggled a bit with his shot, making just three of 11 three-point attempts and just three of eight shots from the charity stripe, but he still paced the Kings with just his second game with 30 or more points. The speedy point guard has scored at least 20 points in all but six of his appearances, however, and his role as the Kings' go-to guy on offense is completely established. That, along with his usage rate, make him an excellent fantasy asset across all formats.

Fox regained his shot after going just 4-for-17 from the field in his previous contest. However, his struggles from the free-throw line continued, as he's shooting just 69.2 percent for the season. Otherwise, Fox's line lacked impressive production as he failed to record at least five assists for the first time in four games. Despite the relatively quiet performance, Fox remains a strong contributor of points, assists and steals on a regular basis.

Fox went for 16 points (4-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 assists, eight rebounds and one block across 39 minutes in the Kings' 121-107 win over the Magic on Wednesday.

Fox had gone three straight games scoring over 20 points prior to Wednesday's outing. His 23.5 percent shooting was easily the worst of the young season. Though he struggled shooting, his 10 assists were the second most he's dished out this year and the eight rebounds were a season high. Fox has also made a home at the charity stripe, getting to the free throw line eight times in five of his last six games.

Fox totaled 22 points (7-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-8 FT) and seven assists in a win over the Knicks on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

In a game that finished with all five Kings starters having registered double-digit scoring, Fox paced a balanced attack with his 11th game this season over 20 points. He also tied for the team lead with seven assists and a trio of three-pointers. In his fourth NBA campaign, Fox is posting per-game averages of 20.9 points, 5.9 assists and 1.4 steals.

Fox and the Kings will not play Sunday or Monday against the Grizzlies due to postponement, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Grizzlies will not have the needed eight available players due to contact tracing. The Kings are still scheduled to play Friday against the Knicks.

Fox built upon his career-best 43-point effort his last time out with another big offensive performance Wednesday, registering his third highest scoring output of the campaign. He looked to be on track for an even bigger game after registering 17 first-half points, but fantasy managers who roster the fourth-year guard will no doubt be happy with his final scoring tally, especially given Fox's efficient shooting. The only drawbacks to the standout performance were Fox's six turnovers -- the most he has registered in a game this season -- and poor showing (3-of-8) from the charity stripe.

Fox finished with 43 points (17-27 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 13 assists, four boards and four steals across 39 minutes Sunday in the Kings' 128-123 loss to the Pelicans.

EDGE Analysis

The scoring haul was a new career high for Fox, who has shown no signs of slowing down since suffering a hamstring injury in the Kings' Jan. 6 win over the Bulls. While the Kings have gone 1-5 in the subsequent six contests, Fox hasn't been the problem, as he's averaging 23.3 points (on 53.7 percent shooting from the field), 6.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 triples and 1.3 steals over that stretch.

The Kings lost by 39 points against the Clippers and, with the game being a blowout early on, Fox wasn't risked -- this was his lowest minute tally of the season if excluding the Jan. 6 against the Bulls when he suffered a hamstring injury. Fox should be ready to lead offense -- and post better numbers -- against a struggling Pelicans team on Sunday.
