De'Aaron Fox Considered Doubtful Against Cavaliers rotoballer.com Sun 11/12/23 10:39 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is officially listed as doubtful to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night. The star guard has been out since October 29 as he continues to deal with a right ankle sprain, but the fact that he's considered doubtful instead of ruled out already is a good sign that he's trending in the right direction. Keon Ellis saw the start in the team's last game while Kevin Huerter saw even more opportunities throughout the game. Davion Mitchell ...
De'Aaron Fox To Sit Out Friday rotoballer.com Thu 11/9/23 8:48 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Fox will miss his fifth game in a row as he works his way back from a sprained right ankle. The Kings started Keon Ellis during Wednesday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers. It's possible that the Kings continue with the strategy, which means Davion Mitchell would come off the bench. Neither player has great streaming value, but Mitchell has higher upside than Ellis ...
De'Aaron Fox To Miss Fourth Straight Game rotoballer.com Tue 11/7/23 9:25 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The star guard continues to miss time as he recovers from a sprained right ankle. Davion Mitchell has started in each of the last three games with Fox on the sideline. During that span, Fox is averaging 8.3 points, 2.3 boards, 3.7 assists. He does enough to make himself a streaming option, but Mitchell is nowhere near as productive as Fox.
De'Aaron Fox Not Returning Against Rockets rotoballer.com Mon 11/6/23 3:09 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Houston Rockets with the right ankle sprain he suffered last Sunday. This is slightly disappointing after The Athletic's Shams Charania reported last Thursday that Fox may have been eyeing a return either this past Saturday or perhaps for Monday's matchup with Houston. Fox's initial timetable had him penciled out for about one week of action, however, so he could be closing in a return. The 25-year-old ...
De'Aaron Fox Still Out On Saturday rotoballer.com Sat 11/4/23 3:24 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) remains sidelined for Saturday's showdown with the Rockets in Houston. There was talk he may have been back for this meeting. However, it appears that wasn't the case. The 25-year-old has averaged a career-high 31.3 points in his three appearances this season, meaning fantasy managers would like him back on the floor as soon as possible. But for now, Davion Mitchell, averaging 13 points, four assists, and three steals as a starter, will likely ...
De'Aaron Fox May Return By Saturday rotoballer.com Thu 11/2/23 6:58 PM
The Athletic's Shams Charania hears that Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is considered day-to-day and could play either in Saturday or Monday's game versus the Houston Rockets. This is an encouraging development after the Kings previously announced that Fox was out indefinitely due to a right ankle sprain he suffered during last Sunday's overtime victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Davion Mitchell provided 13 points, four assists, and three steals over 29 minutes in Wednesday's ...

De'Aaron Fox To Miss Some Time With Ankle Sprain rotoballer.com Mon 10/30/23 3:07 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) has dodged a serious right ankle injury but will miss some time. After rolling his ankle, Fox returned to try and close out Sunday's 132-127 overtime win versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Postgame X-rays showed a moderate ankle sprain, which is a better prognosis than one of the higher-grade variety. With that said, the 25-year-old is still likely to be unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Fox is instrumental to head coach ...
De'Aaron Fox Hurts Right Ankle During Big Performance rotoballer.com Mon 10/30/23 10:29 AM
Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox hurt his right ankle in Sunday's 132-127 overtime win against the Lakers. The Kings star was injured late in the fourth quarter. He left for the locker room after rolling his ankle, but Fox was back on the court when overtime started, logging 1:31 of further action before being subbed and sitting out the rest of the contest. According to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, Fox ignored team instructions by returning. He ended up needing help to get to ...
De'Aaron Fox Won't Require Surgery rotoballer.com Mon 5/1/23 8:04 PM
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (finger) won't need surgery this offseason. The 25-year-old suffered a fractured left index finger during the postseason. Despite that, Fox continued to play and was excellent for the Kings in the playoffs. Sadly, it wasn't enough for them to get out of the first round. The good news is, Fox won't need surgery and should be fully healed in two or three weeks. It'll be interesting to see what the Kings do this offseason to add more talent around Fox and ...
