The Clippers are interested in making a deal involving Iman Shumpert and Darren Collison. While Collison was outstanding as the starter, he hasn't co-existed very well with Chris Paul in the lineup. While the two are on the court together, the Clippers shoot 43.9 percent from the field, which is well below their season total of 47.2 percent. Plus, Paul's offensive efficiency without Collison is 112 vs. 103 with him. The Clippers could use an extra wing with J.J. Redick out indefinitely, but nothing is imminent and the team does not want to take back Raymond Felton's contract.

Darren Collison slid to the Clippers bench on Sunday with Chris Paul (shoulder) starting at PG, and he finished with 12 points and five assists in 25 minutes. This isn't a fair indication of his value, however, as the Clippers' rout led to extra playing time for the second unit. Collison had a nice run in 19 games as a starter, averaging 13.4 points with 1.2 triples, 2.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and only 2.2 turnovers per game. He also made 47.1 percent of his field goals and 90.2 percent of his free throws, but even such fantastic efficiency may not salvage his fantasy value if he's stuck playing 15-20 minutes off the bench.

Darren Collison scored 11 points on 4-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds and seven assists in Friday's win. This is probably his last start in the foreseeable future with Chris Paul expected to return to action on Sunday. Owners may want to play it safe and make sure they're not dropping a starting point guard in the event something weird happens with Paul, but it's a fine play to drop him for a hot free agent if you want to get ahead of the curve. If J.J. Redick remains out, there could be a transition period in which Collison plays 25-28 minutes for a few games, and then 20-23 minutes once Paul has knocked off the rust.

Darren Collison hit just 1-of-6 shots for five points on Wednesday, but had nine assists, a steal and a block in the loss. Collison has hit just 5-of-18 shots in his last two games and Chris Paul is due back from his shoulder injury any day now, and could possibly play Friday against the Raptors. Collison's run was a good one, but the end appears to be near.

Darren Collison turned in a solid line against the Nuggets on Monday during a tough 116-115 loss, scoring nine points with one board, six assists, four steals one one 3-pointer in 26 minutes. The steals made this line a lot better than it looks and he also turned the ball over just one time. Collison shot 4-of-12 from the field today, which is very uncharacteristic after turning in a very efficient January. His value is about to take a massive hit with Chris Paul due back in the near future, so his owners might want to plan to make a swap should the opportunity arise.

Darren Collison had 11 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 4-of-8 shooting in Saturday's win. Chris Paul is talking about returning either Feb. 7 or 9, which is going to put a huge hit on Collison's fantasy value. Owners should plan accordingly, as his days as a fantasy (and reality) starter are winding down.

Darren Collison had 16 points and nine assists on 5-of-9 shooting Wednesday. Sure, he's going to take a big hit once Chris Paul is back in action, but owners should just enjoy the ride and cross that bridge when they come to it.

Darren Collison's toe injury wasn't a problem in Friday's 112-95 win over the Bulls, scoring 17 points with two boards, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes. The Clippers said before the game that they were going to keep an eye on Collison's minutes, but he was fine and active on both ends. They haven't missed Chris Paul (shoulder) too badly and getting Collison on the cheap in the offseason looks like one of the better moves of the summer. He's worth owning in all standard leagues right now.

Darren Collison (toe) is struggling to play through a sprained left big toe. Collison originally injured his toe during Saturday's loss to the Pacers and hasn't looked himself since. "He's struggling," coach Doc Rivers said. "He's trying but you could see him laboring up and down the floor. It's tough. At some point, we may have to make a decision to sit him down as well." His fantasy owners will have to hope the Clips don't have to sit Collison, but Jamal Crawford, Darius Morris, and even J.J. Redick would stand to inherit some minutes at point guard if Collison misses any time.
