Arthur (knee) excused from practice Thursday, not likely to play against Spurs on Friday, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arthur was excused from Thursday's practice in order to tend to an undisclosed family matter. Due to his current status battling soreness in his left knee, it is also likely that he will not be able to play on Friday against the Spurs. This would be the third game Arthur would miss in a row. Should he fail to play, look for Kenneth Faried and Joffrey Lauvergne too see extra minutes in Arthur's absence.

Arthur (knee) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Thunder, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
The announcement that Arthur will not play comes as no surprise as he was listed as doubtful to play. This is the second game in a row that he has missed due to soreness in his left knee. Look for Kenneth Faried and Joffrey Lauvergne to see some extra minutes while Arthur is out. Arthur's next chance to return will be on Friday against the Spurs.

Arthur (knee) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's matchup with Oklahoma City, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The same knee soreness that kept Arthur out of action Saturday against Sacramento is still persisting, and he's likely headed toward a second straight absence. Assuming that's the case, expect to see more of Kenneth Faried and Joffrey Lauvergne in the Denver frontcourt.

Arthur (knee) is out for Saturday's game against the Kings, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arthur's soreness in his left knee was severe enough to keep him sidelined for Saturday's tilt, while Joffrey Lauvergne and Jusuf Nurkic (illness) figure to see additional playing time. Arthur's next chance to return will come Tuesday against the Thunder.

Arthur is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings due to soreness in his left knee, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arthur is coming off of his best scoring performance of the season in Thursday's loss to the Pelicans, but he enters the weekend with a sore knee, and the team will wait until closer to game-time to offer an official ruling on his status. If Arthur doesn't play, the likes of Joffrey Lauvergne and Jusuf Nurkic (illness) would be in line for mild boosts in playing time.

Arthur went for 24 points (10-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, an assist and a block over 22 minutes in Thursday's 101-95 loss to the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
The big man posted a season-high scoring total on the strength of some red-hot shooting, providing the Nuggets with some much-needed scoring punch off the bench on a night where Will Barton missed all eight of his attempts from the field. The seven-year veteran certainly has the ability to post some serviceable stat lines for fantasy purposes, but his production remains largely inconsistent. Despite a solid allotment of playing time, Arthur interspersed eight single-digit scoring efforts-- and one scoreless outing-- with his eight double-digit point totals throughout March.

Arthur will start at power forward for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Rod Boone of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kenneth Faried sidelined again with back soreness, Arthur will make his second consecutive start Saturday. However, he only played 18 minutes in his start Thursday, registering just six points and one rebound in that span while Joffrey Lauvergne and Jusuf Nurkic each saw over 25 minutes of action. Given the Hornets' size in the front court, it's entirely possible head coach Mike Malone uses a similar minutes distribution Saturday even with Arthur starting.

Arthur generated six points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound, and two turnovers across 18 minutes in Thursday's 116-98 loss to the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Arthur was gifted the start at power forward in place of the ailing Kenneth Faried (back), but hardly seized the opportunity during his time on the court. He failed to knock down a single three-pointer for the first time in five games, and actually saw his least amount of court time since March 6. Joffrey Lauvergne ended up seeing the lion's share of the minutes at power forward and put up 16 points and six boards, so he could end up getting the starting nod Saturday against the Hornets if Faried is forced to miss another contest.

Arthur is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Hawks, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kenneth Faried is sitting out with a back injury, so Arthur will be pushed into the starting lineup for the eleventh time this season. He's seen 27 minutes or more in four straight games and should see that steak continue Thursday with Faried out of the lineup.

Arthur tallied nine points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, and one steal across 27 minutes in Monday's 103-96 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Arthur has seen his minutes increase a little bit in the last two games with Danilo Gallinari succumbing to a long-term ankle injury and Jusuf Nurkic being phased out of the rotation. With totals of 22 points and 12 rebounds over that two-game stretch, Arthur has some appeal as a bench option in deeper fantasy formats if he continues to hold down a steady 25-to-30-minute role.
