Given his light usage of late, Knecht was likely assigned to the G League simply to get some extra practice reps in. He'll be available off the bench Monday but isn't expected to be part of the rotation.

Head coach JJ Redick told reporters Friday that Knecht will see more minutes Friday against the Grizzlies and for the foreseeable future, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.

Knecht isn't part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
