After shooting a lackluster 28.9 percent from the field and missing all six of his three-point attempts over the previous two games, Flagg bounced back in a major way against Orlando. The rookie erupted for a career-high 51 points, becoming the youngest player in NBA history to score at least 50. He also knocked down a career-best six triples. The Duke product has reached the 40-point mark three times this season and continues to make an impact on both ends of the floor. Flagg also led the Mavericks in steals Friday and has tallied multiple swipes in five of the last six games.

Flagg ended with 19 points (6-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 123-99 loss to Milwaukee.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg delivered a better performance than in his previous game, when he posted 12 points on 5-for-19 shooting in a loss to the Timberwolves on Monday. However, the star rookie has been struggling with his shot considerably in recent weeks, perhaps showing signs of fatigue from the long grind of his first season in the NBA. Flagg has gone three straight games without draining a three-pointer, but the long-range woes date back to March 6 when he returned from a foot sprain. In his last 15 games, Flagg is averaging 19.9 points per game but is shooting just 18.2 percent from beyond the arc while attempting multiple threes in all but two of those contests.

Flagg ended Monday's 124-94 loss to Minnesota with 12 points (5-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 31 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg was coming off a 24-point performance in the win over the Trail Blazers on Friday, but he took a huge step back on offense with a subpar shooting effort. The rookie out of Duke failed to reach the 15-point mark for the first time since March 12, and that goes to show just how consistent he's been on offense for a struggling Dallas team. He remains one of the odds-on favorites for the Rookie of the Year award, although he's in a tight race with Kon Knueppel for the award.

Flagg logged 24 points (9-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists and four steals in 38 minutes during Friday's 100-93 win over Portland.

EDGE Analysis

It's the third straight game and the sixth time in his last eight contests that Flagg has produced more than 20 points. The star rookie appears to be back in form after a foot injury cost him the last game before the All-Star break and the first seven contests after it. Over his last eight appearances, Flagg's averaging 23.8 points, 6.8 assists, 6.0 boards, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor.

Flagg finished Wednesday's 142-135 loss to the Nuggets with 26 points (10-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes.

Flagg continues to roll for the Mavericks and fantasy managers alike, putting up at least 17 points in his seventh consecutive game. The rookie No. 1 overall pick has poured in at least 20 points five times over this time, with Flagg averaging 23.7 points, 7.4 assists, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals in 34.8 minutes per game.

Flagg totaled 32 points (12-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 42 minutes during Monday's 137-131 overtime loss to Golden State.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg had a superb night and fell one assist shy of a double-double during the heartbreaking loss. The rookie will miss out on his first shot at the playoffs following a horrific 2-8 skid that put the Play-In out of reach. Flagg will need a superb stretch of games as the season ends if he hopes to take home any hardware, as Kon Knueppel may earn more votes for Rookie of the Year with the Hornets making an improbable run to the postseason.

Flagg racked up 18 points (6-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists and four blocks across 41 minutes during Saturday's 138-131 overtime loss to the Clippers.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half, though he went 1-for-8 from the field over the second half and overtime. He still finished as the Mavericks' third-leading scorer and finished second on the team in both rebounds and assists, falling two dimes shy from logging the first triple-double of his young NBA career. Flagg has averaged 18.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.8 steals over 31.7 minutes per game over his last 10 outings.

Flagg finished with 17 points (6-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 135-120 loss to the Hawks.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg had a subpar shooting performance in this loss, and the highly-touted prospect out of Duke took a step back after three straight games in which he surpassed the 20-point mark. The inconsistencies are part of the game for most rookies, so fantasy managers shouldn't be alarmed over one bad performance. Flagg has scored over 15 points in seven of his last nine appearances since returning from a foot injury.

Flagg posted 27 points (10-17 FG, 1-3 3PT, 6-8 FT), 10 assists, six rebounds and two blocks over 33 minutes during the Mavericks' 130-120 win over the Cavaliers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg helped the Mavericks close things out with 19 points in the second half, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter. It was his 10th double-double of the season (and second over his last four games), and he was one assist shy from tying a career high that he set against the Lakers on Nov. 28. In his seven outings since returning from an eight-game absence due to a foot injury, Flagg has averaged 18.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 blocks over 30.4 minutes per contest.

Flagg finished Friday's 138-105 loss to the Cavaliers with 25 points (8-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds and five assists in 29 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Flagg got off to a slow start, scoring just six points on 2-for-8 shooting in the first half, but he flipped the script after halftime. This was his most points and free throws since returning from the foot injury, and it's encouraging to see him starting to regain his rhythm. Flagg playing in games on back-to-back nights is also a good sign.
