Ira Winderman said on New York radio WFAN that Chris Bosh has max offers from both the Rockets and the Heat, according to Tommy Beer. Bosh loves Miami and probably doesn't really want to leave, but he's also from Texas, and the Rockets are heading in the opposite direction of the Heat. Bosh has yet to make a decision, but if he does go to Houston they're going to be one of the top teams in the league, while the Heat could be one of the worst.

Updating a previous report, the Rockets expect that Chris Bosh will "soon" agree to sign in Houston now that LeBron James has opted to leave the Heat. The Rockets have offered Bosh a four-year, $88 million deal and they're willing to pay a steep luxury tax to assemble a championship-caliber core that also includes James Harden, Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons. Before Bosh could sign anything, the Rockets will need to complete trades sending away Omer Asik (to the Pelicans) and Jeremy Lin (in talks with the 76ers). At the moment it doesn't seem as though Bosh is considering any other teams.

The Rockets are expected to offer Chris Bosh a four-year, $96 million contract now that LeBron James has decided to leave the Heat. The Rockets are expected to offer Chris Bosh a four-year, $96 million contract now that LeBron James has decided to leave the Heat. Houston must first clear cap space by trading away Jeremy Lin, but it's only a matter of time before they present Bosh with a hefty offer. Bosh was born in Texas and he'd be joining a playoff team in Houston, as opposed to the reclamation project in Miami, so it's very plausible that we'll see him starting alongside Dwight Howard next season.

David Aldridge is reporting that Chris Bosh doesn't have a contingency plan with the Rockets in case LeBron James leaves the Heat, which is contrary to most other reports out there. Aldridge says he's been told "strongly' that Bosh has no deal with the Rockets, which would mean the signing of LeBron by any team would still result in mystery theater across the rest of the league. There's still a decent chance Bosh could end up in Houston, with LeBron going 'home' to Cleveland, but we'll obviously have to wait and see what becomes of 'The Decision, Part II.'

Chris Bosh has decided to sign with the Rockets if LeBron James leaves the Heat, according to ESPN.com. This isn't really a breaking report and the word on the street has been Bosh isn't going to play in Miami without LeBron. It's hard to believe the Heat will suddenly be left out of the free-agency game of musical chairs after things looked so great when Dwyane Wade opted out of the last two years of his deal worth $41.5 million.

There has been "communication flowing" between Chris Bosh's camp and the Rockets on Wednesday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. The report adds Houston would be a landing spot for Bosh should LeBron James not return to Miami. Bosh has made it clear he'd like to play with LeBron, but that scenario has become more unlikely. He may be a bigger part of the offense in Houston compared to Miami, but he isn't likely to see a big boost in fantasy value just because of his tremendous efficiency while with the Heat. Specifically, he's set a career high in true shooting percentage in each of his last two season, posting a sterling 59.7 percent last year.

The Rockets have reportedly offered unrestricted free agent Chris Bosh a max deal of 4-years, $96 million. After Bosh's weekend conversation with LeBron James, and the Heat's offer for substantially less, Bosh is reportedly "strongly considering" a move back to his home state of Texas. Bosh's career took a bit of a hit when he became the third wheel of the Big Three, but before he came to Miami he averaged 24.0 points, and 10.8 rebounds during his last season with the Raptors. Bosh is still an elite talent in the league, and he may decide he deserves to be paid like one.

Unrestricted free agent Chris Bosh is having conversations with the Rockets on Monday. Bosh definitely wants to play with LeBron James, but Houston is in the running. He is from Texas and would be a great floor spacer next to Dwight Howard. The Rockets are also likely to give him a $20 million offer, which is not something the Heat would be quite as willing to do.

The Rockets are "heavily engaged" in talks to acquire Chris Bosh, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Earlier on Sunday, Bosh's agent "scoffed" at reports that he was seeking a max deal outside of Miami. The Rockets' interest may signal that they're pessimistic about landing Carmelo Anthony, or it may simply be due diligence -- Bosh has been playing in LeBron's shadow for years, but he's still a top-tier scorer who turned 30 years old in March. If nothing else, the NBA free agency period has reached a new level of chaos and activity.

Chris Bosh's agent "scoffed" at reports that Bosh is seeking a max contract outside of Miami. Teams with enough cap space are playing a waiting game with Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James, and once those two sign deals the flood gates should open for lesser free agents. Bosh's agent said that "nothing's changed" in his approach, so there's still a good chance he'll accept less money to re-sign with the Heat, but that won't prevent teams like the Rockets from presenting him with lucrative offers.
