Andersen posted seven points (2-3 FG, 3-6 FT), four rebounds, and one assist in 22 minutes during the Grizzlies' 103-96 win against the Nuggets on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson took the place of JaMychal Green in the starting lineup, perhaps in an effort to better matchup with the size of the Nuggets' frontcourt. Green saw only 12 minutes of action while Anderson drew his highest minutes total since joining the Grizzlies at the trade deadline. With Brandan Wright (knee) sidelined for at least a week or two, Anderson might be the recipient of more responsibility going forward. Nevertheless, Anderson probably won't be relied on to play heavy minutes, and he is known more for his hustle and intangibles than for filling up a box score.

Andersen will draw the start Monday versus the Nuggets, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Many expected JaMychal Green to draw the start, but it appears the Grizzlies have opted to go with a more traditional center. This will be Andersen's first start with the team since being traded from the Heat over the All Star break. With Marc Gasol out for the year, Andersen has an opportunity to impress and earn future minutes in the rotation.

Andersen (knee) recorded four points (2-2 FG), three rebounds, and one block in 11 minutes during the Grizzlies' 109-104 win against the Timberwolves on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen came off the bench in his first game with the Grizzlies, and though Marc Gasol (foot) is out for the year, Andersen has to compete with JaMychal Green, Brandan Wright, and Ryan Hollins for minutes at center. As a result, Andersen is not worth targeting in the vast majority of leagues.

Andersen (knee) has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen hasn't played since Jan. 4 due to both coach's decisions and a bone bruise in his left knee, but the lengthy All-Star break aided his recovery, and his subsequent trade from the Heat to the Grizzlies earlier this week should enable him to get back on the court in short order. Though the Grizzlies are pressed for depth in the frontcourt with Marc Gasol (foot) out indefinitely, Andersen isn't expected to fill in as his primary replacement. Instead, Andersen is expected to see only minimal minutes off the bench, while Brandan Wright (knee), Zach Randolph, Ryan Hollins, and JaMychal Green also help cover some of the court time at center.

Andersen has been traded to Memphis as part of a three-team deal between the Heat, Grizzlies and Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
Courtney Lee is the key piece on the move, as he'll head to Charlotte, while the Grizzlies receive P.J. Hairston from the Hornets, as well as Andersen and a pair of second-round picks - one of which is heavily protected - from Miami. Andersen is likely just a throw-in in the deal, as he's appeared in only seven contests this season, logging fewer than 40 total minutes. That said, the 37-year-old saw nearly 20 minutes per game across 60 contests last season, and the Grizzlies are desperate for help at center following Marc Gasol's injury, so it's possible Andersen could see a larger role in Memphis.

Andersen (knee) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen hasn't played a game since mid-January, as he continues to work his way back from soreness in his knee. A concrete timetable for a return has yet to be established, so it remains unclear when he'll be available next. Even when back to full health, Andersen isn't expected to have a significant role in the Heat's regular rotation, so his fantasy value remains severely limited.

Andersen (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has been dealing with soreness in his left knee since mid-January and doesn't have a clear timetable for a return. He's only appeared in seven games this season while averaging 5.1 minutes, so his continued absence should go relatively unnoticed in the fantasy realm.

Andersen (knee) will not play Friday against the Hornets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is essentially a formality, as Andersen did not travel with the Heat on their three-game roadtrip, which concludes Friday night. As such, his next opportunity to play will come Sunday when Miami plays host to the Clippers. The veteran has held a very limited role off the bench this season and is not of much fantasy utility in nearly any format.

Andersen (knee) will not play in Sunday's game against the Hawks and likely won't travel with the Heat on their three-game road trip that starts on Tuesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen missed the Heat's last five-game road trip with a lingering knee injury and is now expected to miss at least the next four games as well. He remains without a concrete timetable for a return, although even when healthy, he's not expected to be a part of the Heat's regular rotation. In seven games so far this season. Andersen has averaged just 1.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.4 assists over five minutes.

Andersen (knee) won't travel with the Heat during their five-game road trip that kicks off Wednesday against the Wizards, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen continues to deal with some soreness in his left knee, and the Heat decided it was in the veteran's best interest to take the next week-plus off to rest. The Heat will be without the services of Andersen, Goran Dragic (calf), Beno Udrih (neck), and Josh McRoberts (knee) on Wednesday, but Birdman's absence is the least of the team's concerns. Andersen is averaging only 5.1 minutes across seven appearances this season.
