Chris Andersen returned from his knee injury on Monday with eight point, two boards and one block in 17 minutes. He missed three games with his knee issue and was right back to his usual role off the bench. Andersen plays just 18.5 minutes per game for Miami, so he's only on the radar in deep leagues.

Chris Andersen is a game-time decision against the Hawks on Monday. He has been out of the lineup due to a bruised knee and the Heat might hold him out yet again. Andersen is a big help to one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA and really helps protect the paint, but he doesn't have much fantasy value with his limited playing time and injury woes.

Chris Andersen (bruised knee) will sit out again on Saturday, as the Heat face the Bobcats in Charlotte. Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem will handle the center position in continued absence of the Birdman, who has missed five of the past 11 games and is questionable to return in Atlanta on Monday.

Andersen is a bit of an unheralded player for the Heat for his presence inside, but there is not much to like about his fantasy value. It's unclear Greg Oden will play tonight.

Chris Anderson (body soreness) will not play against the Wizards on Wednesday. This is his second stint for body soreness and his absence may open up some playing time for Greg Oden. To be clear, fantasy owner should not be picking up Greg Oden. Andersen is only worth holding in deep leagues.

Chris Andersen played through an illness on Thursday night vs. the Knicks with two points, three boards, one assist, three steals and one block in 21 minutes. The Heat went with a bigger lineup in this game, which allowed Andersen to get some extra minutes. Birdman was a little under the weather for tonight's game and should still be well enough to play Friday. Although, he was dealing with some body soreness late last month and the Heat might take it easy on him for Friday's game in a back-to-back set.

Chris Andersen expects to play on Thursday despite battling an illness. He was at shootaround but we'll list him as questionable to be on the safe side. He's coming off a season-best 15-point performance, but even so his availability shouldn't have a substantial impact in standard fantasy leagues.

Chris Andersen scored a season-high 15 points during Tuesday's 107-88 win over the Pelicans on 7-of-7 shooting, while adding seven boards, two assists, one steal and one block in 23 minutes. He's made his last nine shots over his last two games and is playing well since returning from body soreness on Jan. 2. Andersen still is not going to see enough minutes to matter in most leagues.
