Chase Budinger (knee) will be on an 18-minute limit in games for at least the next two weeks. Budinger had six points and one rebound in 11 minutes during his season debut on Friday, and this minute-limit decimates his short-term fantasy outlook. It's worth noting that starting Corey Brewer played 28 minutes with Bud back in the lineup, five below his season average.

Chase Budinger made his season debut from knee surgery and had six points, a rebound and a 3-pointer on 2-of-3 shooting in 11 minutes of Wednesday's loss. Budinger will join a crowded bench rotation and should only be given a look in very deep leagues.

Chase Budinger (knee) will make his season debut on Wednesday against the Suns. Budinger has not played all season and the Wolves need some more perimeter scoring. Most fantasy owners should take a wait-and-see approach with Budinger. His return could impact the minutes of Corey Brewer once Budinger finds his groove.

Chase Budinger (knee) will not play against the Sixers on Monday night. He has not played all season and is getting closer to a return. The Wolves do need some more perimeter scoring and are one of the worst teams on mid-range jumpers, so Budinger would help. Most fantasy owners should take a wait-and-see approach with Budinger.

Chase Budinger (knee) will not play on Saturday but coach Rick Adelman said that he's "close" to returning. Budinger went through another full-court, full-contact practice on Thursday but the Wolves are being understandably cautious about his return, given that he's recovering from a second surgery on the same knee. He may eventually start at SF ahead of Corey Brewer, but until that happens fantasy owners should monitor him from a distance.

Chase Budinger (knee) will not play on Monday, but he did participate in a 3-on-3 scrimmage with full contact during shootaround. Budinger is slowly nearing a return from his second knee surgery, but the Wolves will naturally play it safe with his return date. Corey Brewer's value has already faded after a hot start to the season and he may lose his grip on the SF job once Bud is healthy enough to join the active lineup.

Chase Budinger (knee surgery) practiced again on Thursday for the third time in a week, but still doesn't sound like he's ready for game action. "He says he feels fine, but he's going through training camp basically," coach Rick Adelman said. "His whole body is sore, but he's moving OK. So hopefully, gradually he'll get better." Budinger sounds like he might be ready to play in the near future, but it's unlikely that he'll be worth owning in fantasy leagues.

Chase Budinger (knee) has been doing some light work at practice with the team. Coach Rick Adelman called it a gradual process and added his swingman still isn't ready to return. Budinger has been out all season from his surgery back in October and will get back in the rotation. Corey Brewer's honeymoon of efficiency with the Wolves is over due to shooting just 30.8 percent from the field in December, so Budinger figures to get into a timeshare at worst.

Chase Budinger (knee) felt fine after going through 4-on-4 drills on Thursday. Budinger's biggest issue is general soreness following such a long rehabilitation process, but it's still unclear when he might return to action. The Wolves head to L.A. to face the Lakers on Friday and the Clippers on Sunday, after which they get four consecutive days off. Don't be surprised if Minnesota delays Bud's return to take advantage of the extra rest.
