Winston has signed with Bayern Munich for the upcoming season, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

After appearing in 29 total games for the Wizards over the past two years, Winston is now slated to play for Bayern Munich. The Michigan State product will attempt to carve out a starting role with his new team during the 2022-23 season.

Winston might have come off the bench but still ended as one of the best scorers in this game for the Go-Go. Even though his shooting performance wasn't eye-popping by any means, he showed once again that he can produce when given enough minutes regardless of his role.

Winston had 13 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists and three rebounds across 16 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over Lakeland.

Winston didn't have a lot of minutes off the bench, but he still ended with a solid stat line while being one of seven Capital City players that scored in double digits. He's not going to be this efficient on a regular basis, but he certainly made his presence felt in this lopsided win.

Winston put up 24 points (7-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 assists, four rebounds and two steals across 21 minutes in Wednesday's 125-111 loss to the Motor City Cruise.

Winston had a double-double off the bench against the Cruise on Wednesday. He's averaging 14.1 points and 4.4 assists per game this season while shooting 50.5 percent from the field for the Go-Go.

Winston notched 19 points (5-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and four assists across 25 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss against the Herd.

Winston was not the most efficient player for Capital City since he shot under 40 percent from the field in this game, but he still ended as the team's second-best scorer behind Jaime Echenique, who had 22 points. Winston has played mostly off the bench this season, but he can be relied upon as a decent scoring threat in most nights.

Winston was the leading scorer for the Go-Go but his efficiency levels certainly stood out, as he shot 66.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep in this particular game. The lack of consistency has been an issue, as he has scored in double digits in just two of his last five contests, but he's still averaging 13.2 points per contest.

Winston had 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists and two rebounds across 17 minutes off the bench in Sunday's win over Grand Rapids.

EDGE Analysis

Winston has been quite inconsistent this season, with four games in double digits and three contests in which he scored nine or fewer points. The 2020 draft pick out of Michigan State is averaging 12.6 points per game this season, though he needs to be far more consistent.

Winston made the most of his limited on-court time, as he ended as one of the team's best scorers while only needing 13 shots, and the fact that he went to the charity stripe eight times certainly helped him. Expecting these kind of numbers on a regular basis is not ideal, but Winston should be a decent producer off the bench in most games for the Go-Go.
