The five made three-pointers represented his best shooting effort from long range since Dec. 26, when he lit up Portland for a 9-for-14 performance from beyond the arc. Lopez continues to run hot and cold, sinking multiple three-pointers in five of 14 March games but also failing to hit one at all in five games. On the month, the veteran center is averaging 10.6 points, 4.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.1 blocks while shooting 51.8 percent from the floor and 41.5 percent from three-point range.

This was a major dud for Lopez, but he's been solid enough to warrant another chance from his fantasy managers. Over his last eight games, he's producing ninth-round value in nine-category formats with averages of 10.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers.

Lopez amassed 26 points (11-19 FG, 4-8 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and four steals across 34 minutes during Friday's 116-112 loss to San Antonio.

EDGE Analysis

The 26 points represented Lopez's best scoring effort since Dec. 26, when he poured in 31 against the Trail Blazers, while the four steals tied his season high. The veteran center is still searching for some consistency since moving into the starting five in early February, but over the last 12 games Lopez is averaging 12.4 points, 5.0 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.7 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks.

Lopez contributed 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 130-107 victory over the Pacers.

EDGE Analysis

Lopez didn't do much outside of scoring, but his contributions were enough to finish the game as the Clippers' third-best offensive weapon behind Kawhi Leonard and Bennedict Mathurin. Since moving to a permanent starting role Feb. 4, Lopez has scored in double digits in six of his last 12 outings. Consistency from game to game is lacking, but he should remain a secondary scoring option. He has decent fantasy upside, but he's more of a backup center rather than someone you'd want to have in your lineup every night.

The 37-year-old center put together his best performance from three-point range since Dec. 26, when he erupted for 31 points on 9-for-14 shooting from beyond the arc against Portland. Since rejoining the starting five after the trade deadline, Lopez is averaging 10.5 points, 4.9 boards, 1.7 assists, 1.6 threes, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks in 29.7 minutes over the last 10 games.

Lopez accumulated 16 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals across 35 minutes during Friday's 125-122 loss to the Lakers.

Lopez was forced to play a larger role on offense after John Collins (head) went down with an injury in the second quarter. Lopez recorded his third double-double of the season, and Ivica Zubac's (ankle) departure should allow Lopez to hit the milestone more frequently.

Fantasy managers can continue to treat Lopez as a low-end center option in the aftermath of the Ivica Zubac (ankle) trade. Lopez has averaged 9.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.6 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 30.4 minutes per game in his last five contests, shooting 42.1 percent from downtown.

Lopez finished Tuesday's 102-95 loss to the Rockets with seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and one steal across 29 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Lopez scored no more than seven points for the third time in the past four games, all of which have been starts. With Ivica Zubac traded to Indiana, Lopez assumed the starting role immediately. However, outside of a strong performance against the Kings, Lopez has been unable to deliver impactful standard-league production. During that four-game stretch, he has averaged just 8.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 28.7 minutes per contest. At best, he should be viewed as a blocks streamer.

Making his second start since Ivica Zubac (ankle) was dealt to the Pacers, Lopez set a new season high in rebounds while posting his best scoring effort since a 31-point eruption in Portland on Dec. 26. The 37-year-old center may not have a lot left in the tank, but the Clippers will be counting on him to step up as part of the new supporting cast around Kawhi Leonard.
