Blazers Sign Veteran Brandon Rush rotoballer.com Tue 2/20/18 3:06 PM

This article references and more! The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to a 10-day contract with guard/forward Brandon Rush. He's a nine-year veteran that has played with four different NBA teams, but he hasn't seen much success. Rush averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 47 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves last season. He won't be an option in standard leagues and should be left on waivers in just about every format. It's unlikely Rush finds consistent playing time in the Blazers rotation, so owners can just wait this [...]Keep on reading: Blazers Sign Veteran Brandon Rush

Brandon Rush Is A Game Time Decision Against Knicks rotoballer.com Fri 12/2/16 7:06 PM

This article references Brandon Rush, Shabazz Muhammad and more! Brandon Rush is dealing with a toe injury and although this doesn't really affect anyone in regards to fantasy, this should lead to a few more minutes for Shabazz Muhammad. The Timberwolves bench is limited and their starters rack up minutes and Rush was not getting many as it is. Minnesota will play the hot hand so, outside of the starting five, Muhammad is the only real option off the bench for the Timberwolves and thats only for DFS. He isn't consistent enough for standard leagues but against[...]Keep on reading: Brandon Rush Is A Game Time Decision Against Knicks

Shabazz Muhammad Out, Brandon Rush Questionable vs. Lakers rotoballer.com Sun 11/13/16 7:06 PM

This article references Brandon Rush, Nemanja Bjelica, Shabazz Muhammad and more! The Lakers are top-5 team in pace (102.51) so it should be a fantasy friendly game. If both Muhammad and Rush are ruled out, it'll leave a lot of backup perimeter minutes free for Nemanja Bjelica. He's not the strongest punt option for DFS, but the lack of depth may mean Wiggins and LaVine are looking at an increased workload.Keep on reading: Shabazz Muhammad Out, Brandon Rush Questionable vs. Lakers

NBA Waiver Wire: Week 7 Category Streamers rotoballer.com Thu 12/10/15 9:30 PM

This article references Al Jefferson, Bismack Biyombo, Brandon Rush, Chris Kaman, Cody Zeller, DeMar DeRozan, Ed Davis, Klay Thompson, Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol, Mirza Teletovic, Patty Mills, Stephen Curry, Tyler Zeller, Tyson Chandler, Zach Randolph and more! Welcome to Week 7, and another tough weekend for streamers. Again, it was a rough crop to choose from, but I found a few diamonds in the rough that could swing a category and more importantly a win in your favor. Overall the ownership percentages were a little higher than I normally try to focus on in this article, but the drop off after the below recommendations was huge, so I’m crossing my fingers you all are in the majority of leagues where these players are available. This column wi[...]Keep on reading: NBA Waiver Wire: Week 7 Category Streamers

Roster Shuffling Continues fantasyalarm.com Sun 12/18/11 1:14 PM

In many cases, its akin to shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic. We are seeing that some teams trash is another teams treasure. Clubs continue to use the amnesty clause to rid themselves of the un-wanted, with the same players welcomed by others through free agency. With most of the premiere players already re-settled, transactions from here to opening day are mostly role players as teams round out their rotations. The Lakers continue to obtain role players to fill the minutes available with the departure of Lamar Odom. Forward Todd Murphy is the latest to join showtime, joining Josh McRoberts as depth behind Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. The Lakers along with the Knicks and Heat have expressed interest in guard Baron Davis who was cut loose by Cleveland this week. Davis, expected to miss eight to ten weeks due to injury, is hoping to sign a new deal by beginning of the week. Another veteran guard capable of contributing is free agent Gilbert Arenas. Not surprisingly the same teams pursuing Davis are interested in Arenas. The losers of the Davis sweepstakes, Lakers, Heat or Knicks, will turn their attention to Agent Zero. The Pacers have shipped guard Brandon Rush to Golden State for forward Loius Amundson. It appears Indiana feels they have enough talent on the perimeter as the Warriors seem to have made out on the face of the deal. Miami is happy with Mario Chalmers distributing the ball to the big three. Chalmers gets a three year deal to stay in South Beach. The Sixers have brought back center Spencer Hawes. The one year, four million dollar deal allows Hawes to become an unrestricted free agent at seasons end. Hawes looked solid in the preseason opener against Washington and will start for Philadelphia in the middle this season. The Celtis brought in a backup big man that should get quality minutes off the bench. Chris Wilcox may need to play some at center with Kevin Garnett...
